So, How DID It Look... Re: The Intro

I've read a couple people reference the intro with the crowd, and the Rock last night... I was sitting with my dad while the lady was giving her long-winded instructions, and I turned to him and said "This is either going to be really sweet, or the worst idea ever."

Anyways, like I said, I've read a couple people saying it was botched... So, how bad did it look?

It was okay. I could make out the horsehead, but it looked like there were still a lot of people out of their seats.

Give the Rock props for his enthusiasm. But I suspect he was just there to promote the teasers for "Doom."

Either the fans screwed it up or the camera didn't give it enough time for the intro to develop. No worries, though. The Rock bit made for good TV...

I'll second what OD said. Not enough seats filled yet, although you could tell what the image was. So all in all, pretty good. The Rock really got the crowd pumped up; on TV, there was quite the roar. Good crowd(noise) throughout the game.

Thanks for the thread and additonal posts. I was struggling to get the overall presentation, and I wasn't sure if it was just me. Might work better with an east coast team because people will have more time to get off work and get to the stadium.

Yea, it was tough to make out the horse head and people were really slow to turn the cards or whatever. I liked the "Lost" intro last week better. On the plus side, they completely missed Discoman's outfit and Meck's moon shot. :giggle:

Looked great from my angle. It appeared the horse head had some had some holes in it but monday evening traffic in Denver is tough for alot of fans to get to the game early enough. Great crowd though! :thumbs:
