Did you guys catch the part where he said KC was supposed to trade for me so I made them regret it. I heard rumors that the other AFC west teams were interested in pryce but nothing substantial. Now he makes it sound as if it was close to a done deal.

No trade for Pryce to KC specifically, was ever close.
They were very close to a deal with Dallas, and fairly close to a trade with Cincinnati.
The core problem was ALWAYS Pryce's contract & his unwillingness to re-negotiate, but his injury recovery was high on the list of concerns as well.
He finally relented in an effort to stay put in Denver...for this season anyway.
