Ok after alot of dicussion amongst Omaners we finally have an official schedule of events of when and where to meet!
SATURDAY:
Alot of people are arriving Saturday night and staying in the downtown area. We have arranged to have OF1 parked at Public House Bar @ 1900 Blake Street in lodo. This is 1 block south of Coors field on Blake Street. http://www.publichousedenver.com/home.cfm
The owner of that place is very cool and she has a nice bar with great food!
Anyhow we'll be parked there @ 8:00pm til atleast 11:00pm. This is a good location in lodo for people to meet up, hang on the bus for a bit, grab a beer at the public house, eat etc. If people want to spread around seperate ways that is cool too but atleast if people want to meet up with other Omaners this is a good central lodo location to start. Not to mention I think you guys can find a big orange bus!
If people want to go for a ride after 11:00pm we will zip the group to wherever everyone decides and bring you back to the same location. There are plenty of parking lots in the area to leave your cars.
Sunday:
For simplicity we opted to meet back at Public House at 12:00pm the next day to gather for the Rockies game. We'll hustle some tix off of Blake St for bit or simply grab a section in the stadium if we have to. Tix for rockies games are usually cheaper on the streets then at the window. If for some reason you get to public house and don't see any Omaners there we will swing by there on our way to the game to make sure nobody gets left behind.
Sunday Evening:
Pre-tailgate at the bus shop shortly after the game. People can show up anytime but the bbqing and bonfire won't really start til atleast 7 pm and go til? We'll be lighting the pig somewhere around 10:00pm depending on the size of it.
I have quiet a few people crashing around the office and my house but there is always room for anyone that doesn't feel comforatable driving home. There is room on the bus or we have extra sleeping bags sofas around etc if you want to crash out here.
Monday:
Tailgate Starts @ NOON sharp! No excuses! OF1 will be leaving the shop @ 11:00am so if you want a ride you need to be here by then. The bus has a flexible schedule but not when it comes to tailgating. You will get left behind if you are not here by then. Sorry but we've waited around for people in the past and it just throws everything off.
Tailgating starts at noon. Karaoke starts @ 2:00pm. We'll be serving up the pig between 3:00pm -4:00pm. Broncobum has volunteered to run the grill as he did most of the time while at the Canton tailgate.
There is a cash lot C where you can park for $30 bucks next the bus if you ge there early. I mean early. They only have a limited amount of spaces they sell. Otherwise look for Lot M south of where we tailgate at. It's also 30 bucks or Lot N is a $20 parking lot.
All the parking info is on the Broncos site. www.denverbroncos.com Click on stadium/then parking. There are maps and prices etc.
After the game there will be a post game tailgate. Couple of surprises in store for you guys that I can't reveal at this time.
