View Full Version : Diaper Assault had Chiefs Playbook Stolen from him

First of all... This is a hilarious read... A true glimpse of what an a-hole this guy is...
Second of all... WOW! There is a Chiefs playbook floating around to the highest bidder!
http://www.pitch.com/Issues/current/news/feature.html
When Johnson wakes up the next morning, though, he has no idea that a woman has filed a police report accusing him of assault.
Instead, he finds that someone has broken into his SUV in the driveway of his Leawood home.
Among the missing items are his stereo amplifiers, the game tickets he intended to share with his girlfriend and his manager, and his fat playbook, the loss of which will mean a $5,000 fine from the team.

"Johnson isn't likely to turn the other cheek when slighted, even by teammates. He remembers losing his temper during a practice when a coach asked him to block the towering defensive lineman Eric Hicks. "Apparently, I did a good job. He got frustrated. He ripped my helmet off."
In return, Johnson says he blindsided Hicks, knocking him to the turf. "I tried to kick so hard to try to break his neck through his helmet." "

Anyway, back to the main topic: The Alleged Missing Playbook. I would imagine that the playbook is game-specific, that it would help us tremendously but not so much other opponents. Even if it does exist, the Bronco organization would get into serious trouble if they were caught buying it. It's been reported as stolen property.

what factor does misdirection and presnap movement and changing formations have to do with ?
how will the broncos know what play is called?
if the broncos actually figured everything out, but the chiefs used presnap movement to disguise the play(which they do anyway), then the broncos D wouldn't know what was actually gonna happen till 1sec before snap right?
anyway, the running plays are very obvious most of the time. its funny how the D knows what's comnig at them and they still fail to sop it.

Your'e missing the point here. We aren't talking about the Broncos getting extra game film. We're talking about the Broncos getting the Chief's gameplan. Big difference.
how will the broncos know what play is called?

Because a game plan dictates what plays you will run (to a degree) in certain situations. Think of the Bucs/Raiders SuperBowl. I'm not saying our D is as good as the Bucs, but they didn't have a gameplan. They had a deep understanding of the Raider O from Gruden. A game plan would be a greater advantage to a lesser D. Similar result.
anyway, the running plays are very obvious most of the time. its funny how the D knows what's comnig at them and they still fail to sop it.
Not necessarily. There are a lot of complexities in a running game and how it interacts/compliments your passing game. If a D knows what's coming they stop you a huge majority of the time.

Shoot, I used to lay down to go to sleep and see plays etched into my corneas. I had massive Tecmo Bowl competitions with the original one with guys from work. There was that glitch in the run blocking where you could run right through an O-Linman and a D-Lineman engaged in a block. I would dance for days behind the LOS against a human opponent.

you forgot DAN WILLIAMS AKA couch potatoe. For those that dont know who he is. Je was the first round draft pick of the Denver Broncos in 1993. He did well with the cheifs in 1997 and wanted big money when his contract was up and King Carl wouldnt pay him big money so Williams sat on his ass, ate Cheez-Its and watched TV the whole 1998 season on the couch. In 1999, out of desperaton for a pass rush, King Carl agreed to a four year deal with Couch Potato, including $7.8 million in bonus money. Later he did well his first year but he sucked afterwards and King Carl said it was a mistake.

Sound to me like Chef players simply walk into bars, intimidate mullets and turn them into cuckholds, then if their girlfriends don't comply, they throw them down the stairs. It's right out of the Animal House night out in the Lincoln with Otis. "Ladies, may we have this dance..."

You mean when Reeves blew a 24-0 lead on MNF to Shanahan, Oaklands coach, AT HOME and flipped him the bird? I'd be pissed too. Reeves fired Shahanan because he knew Elway was tight with him. That was just frustration because Shanahan knew the EXACT play the always predictable Reeves would call. Reeves totally blows the game, and expected Elway to once again pull a rabbit out of the hat. Reeves blew chunks in his last years, especially when Shanahan left. First Reeves tried to pawn off Elway for Maddox, which would of pissed anyone off, then he fires Shanahan.
Plummer apologized, but he's not running clubs in his gansta outfits chasing and beating women like your BOY LJ now is he?
What "Rod Smith fiasco"? He had a misdemeanor DV and took care of it.
A fiasco is when your allready deep into your second year and the town hates your ass, or when you show up at the airport with a fake penis to fool a pee test. That was the most amusing thing of all time. Yes, it's a circus up here, I admit it. Tice has absolutely no respect from anyone on the team. He should of been fired last week.
