#8....(previous: #5)
Kansas City Chiefs (2-0)
I like this team. I like everything about it, and I like the wine from Dick Vermeil's vineyard. That's why I was practically crying during the Raiders game when I saw that pass rush scheme of theirs, and the anemic special teams, and the way they defended Randy Moss -- by giving him a free release and allowing him to range through their secondary like a free-spirited gavokk.
#16....(previous: #29)
Denver Broncos (1-1)
I'm really fascinated by the Ron Dayne angle. I haven't watched the tape of the Chargers game yet, but on the highlights I saw the big guy really smacking it in there on the winning drive. Could it be that all he ever lacked was coaching, and here was this gang of cynics, myself included, saying all those snide things about him?

Beat me to it. How can you not have watched the game yet? I get the fact that 16 football games is a lot to watch in their entirety, but jesus, if that is your job, to write about football, how can you do that without watching the games? ****, I'm sure SI could shell out for that NFL direct ticket deal where they shorten every game to just the plays, in an hour or something.

I could just imagine my wife if I had that job. "Yeah, that's right honey, I have to watch another football game. Hey, it's my job!" I would need a frying panoscopy. Ha!

If he watched Bronco games, he would have voted for Gradishar in hall of fame balloting long ago...I take what he writes with a grain of salt.

Lol this is the best....
"For 55 minutes against the Cowboys they were in danger of dropping a few spots from their lowly 23rd position. For five minutes they achieved a five-spot raise. Skins fans, I know you're the most spirited of all the e-mailers, but please take all this into consideration before you draft your latest round of rips."
Len Pastabelly and Dr. ZZZZ have a feud with skins fans.
As far as the Broncos rating, i think we are too low, but i guess we haven;t done enough to warrant a higher ranking. That's what the chefs are for!

In general Broncos fans dont like either of those guys. I wonder how much hate mail they get from football fans.
