although the season has started, things aren't really clear as to who the "power teams" are and who is the "also-ran".
However thats never stopped us from predicting games before

their offense is really, really, really bad
probably worse than ours, not probably...IS worse than ours
their D is pretty strong though..........
I'd go for 8-8 with them

7-9, 8-8 bout right, they will fall into a few wins and the D is solid enuff for another couple wins.... just another unlucky situation for the Broncos.

Mark B. and their D and being in NFC gives them the best shot to go 8-8.

6-10. The Cokeboys gagged that one away. That offense is no better than it was a year ago. The defense is good, but it was good last year and they still ended up 6-10.
By the way, after two games, Champ has 1 TD, Portis has 0.

have you seen their offense
but thank you for picking them so high, it assures them to be below .500

Tonight was a rivalry game and the Crapboys went to sleep. I don't see them finishing with less than 10 losses in spite of the win tonight.

I am just not sold on any of those teams listed with busters at qb. The Eagles are the only team that's a certain loss IMO.

I don't have a rationale for the wins and losses...just a feeling. My feeling says 5-11.

The Skins will play like this all season. They'll suck all game long, but their defense will be good enough to hold other teams within range... And then at the end, they'll desperately connect on some downfield stuff to steal games... But it's not going to work every week... They might have 8 wins in them, but the Giants and the Eagles will be the real class in that division, IMO.

Exactly. With that defense, they'll literally be in every single game they play, maybe not the two games vs. Philly, but they'll be in a lot of games. Kinda sucks, but they could still lose 10 games, which would be great for us.

I live out here and would like nothing better than for them to lose every frickin week so their bandwagon fans will shut up. I will be sick if we let them beat us. But, I see them going 8-8 because they have a good defense, no offense and no quarterback. Mainly, they will win 8 because their division sucks other than Philly. They will beat the poor teams and lose to the good ones. I'm not sure yet whether that means we will beat them or not.

Split with the 'Boys and Giants, get swept by the E-girls. 6-10, could go 8-8 if they step up in some big games, could go 4-12 if they drop some games they should win, like both to NYG (possible), or Oakland.
Honestly, I'm hoping more like 8-8 because that'd probably mean they beat KC and/or Oakland and/or San Diego for us. I don't like them in any of those games though. Their offense isn't good at all, they've just played two bad teams who've fallen apart and given them the game at the end. Never know though, teams have just hung around and stole games for a 10+ win season before, I just don't see the 'Skins having it in 'em this year.
But honestly, before the season I was betting on them beating Chicago and getting a split with Dallas, so far they're right on track for the 6-10 season I expect.

I went to bed before their comback last night, but based on what I saw before that, ten guys and the pole girl from OF-1 could stop that offense.

Hopefully when they realize the season is lost they throw in the rookie QB. I see 6-10 or even worse. The NFC east looks improved this year.

With that defense they will probably steal one or two more games this year.
I think their other victims will probably be Arizona and St Louis. They may be able to beat Tampa and possibly Seattle. Although they may beat Philly in the last game with they rest their starters.
I still think they will finish 5-11 or 8-8 at best.

I originally said 9-7. I didn't think they would beat Dallas, so now I think they will finish 10-6.

skins will probably split their division and go 50-50. So a conservative estimate of 9-7 still means an advance in Denver's position last year.....in a relatively weak draft. Who cares what Washington does? Our draft turned out pretty good and we'll get more leverage to trade around next year.
The funny thing to me is that Portis is in a very bad system for him.....and likely would be traded back if he could. That graphic showing over 100 more carries last year netting 200 less yards has to hurt. It's looking to me like Gibbs would rather have Betts in there than Portis.

Let's give em MA. He's more their kind of back? MA for Portis. I like that idea. Of course we'll have to cut Trevor to afford Portis.

He looked like the Mark Brunell of old. Maybe he's close to what the Skins thought he should of been last year--the guy they signed for 7 years at age 33. :puff:
