I don't have a strong opinion on either game tonight, but I like my TV action.

I'm taking New Orleans +3 1/2 at "home". I know teams can't sustain emotion indefinitely, but I expect a big effort from them tonight. It won't take Knute Rockne to send those guys out of the lockerroom with an us-against-the-world mentality this evening. Even a shmoe like Jim Haslett should be able to get that right

Dallas has beaten Washington 14 out of 15 times. They also appear to be improved on both sides of the line of scrimmage this season. I think the Skins will have a difficult time scoring points tonight. I took Dallas -5 1/2.

I agree with your Dullass pick, but I think the Saints get slapped back down to reality this week.

How did your over call go in the Chef game go Slappy?

I gave the point. Anyway, I learned not to touch the Saints a long time ago.

I like Dallas tonight, but don't like that many points. Not sold yet.

When I had two touchdowns called back, a blocked field goal and a missed field goal, I was amazed to find myself still alive for the cover in the fourth quarter. That fumble by KC pretty much killed me, though.

I rarely bet the Saints, either, but I needed a side tonight and I like getting the three and a hook. The Giants don't exactly blow people out, so it could come down to a field goal.

Dallas is laying too much in this game, but I decided to get involved when the number moved off six. They've totally dominated Washington in this series and the Skins have internal problems boiling under the surface again.

Take Dallas and the points. They are gonna murder Washington. Saints are streaky and always will be with Brooks at the helm.

I did terrible this weekend, but I avoided betting my sorry picks.

I'm still stratching my head over our offense. Randy Cross had a funny (i've heard it before but it was still funny) comment about our offense.

"The Broncos have got to execute, and if you ask Shannahan about the execution of the offense, I'm sure he'd be for it"

I like the cowboys also tonight, but beware Portis, he is due to break out.

Go Dallas. Go Saints.

Washington is just a bad run (2-4 start or so ) away from imploding and throwing in the Rookie QB.

It'd be nice to have a top 10 pick in the draft for the first time since Dan Williams (?).

I really wanted Sean Dawkins that year ..... Just like i wanted Carl Pickens a few years earlier.

Addiction makes you brave.

Truthfully, I wouldn't need action to find rooting interests in these games tonight. I think lots of people want to see New Orleans win this game and all good Bronco fans are hoping Washington will mix in a nice ten game losing streak this year.

I like the cowboys also tonight, but beware Portis, he is due to break out.

His perfromance last week was smoke and mirrors to an extent.

He had a Gaston Green sort of day .... 20+ carries for 60 yards and then 1 carry for 45 to make it look like a great day.

well I like all this dallas is going to murder washington talk, not just from you guys but from the media. Everytime they pick the skins, skins lose. I mean most of it is because the skins always acquire big name players and the media always thinks it's going to put them over the top(until recently). This game is going to go one of 2 ways: 1) Brunell ends up being like 2004 form and the defense just gives up. we get blown out. 2) Skins win a close one. Every year it's that we're going to beat dallas and everyone is confident. THey've won on many crazy plays over the years. I like this though. For once no one is giving the skins a chance and usually when that happens a team surprises everyone by winning. we'll see. This goes 2 ways. If the skins are 2-0, it will jump start a great season. If they lose, all bronco fans will start to sniff that top 10 pick ;D

I think betting this early in the season is pretty crazy to start with. NFL is so unpredictable right now.

I think the N.O. Game is the better play. Eli is playing better, but not good yet alone a game changer...plus...the subliminal effect of Katrina might make a few critical calls go the Saints way.

I can't really tell you that's wrong because the numbers speak for themselves. However, I watch all the games and I can tell you more often than not it's become about confidence. Dallas has had less talent for a while now, but they know they can beat washington whereas the Redskins get tight.

Your definition of owned is fine because I don't think you watch many of the cowboy/skins games and rightfully so. Still, owned to me, as much as I hate to say it is Colts and Broncos. They flat out have dominated us. Watch a skins/cowboys game and you'll see stupid sh!t like last year. 30 seconds left cowboys on the 50 losing 10-6. Miscommunication and galloway gets a 50 yd td dallas wins 13-10. Mind you this is after the skins dominated the game. Dallas had like 5 first downs. To any outsider dallas owns washington, but it would frustrate you if you saw something like that. I get real frustrated when Denver gives their annual 3 games away. Of course the Raiders are used to this. ROFL!

Eli may not be at the top of his game but they have done a good job surrounding him with the right talent. I dont know if he needs to be a game changer at this point, he has barber to fill that role and to a lesser degree plaxico or even shockey when he doesnt have his head in his a$$
They seemed to adjust well to whatever pressure the cards D put on them last week. It was only the cards but they had their act together.

Too Goddamn funny. Did I say even Jim Haslett wasn't stupid enough to blow the momentum New Orleans would have coming out of the lockerroom? Never underestimate that man's stupidity.
