I thought, as I am sure many here did as well, that the Broncos played a game that could be considered a tale of 2 halfves.
I have made a consious effort to keep a low profile since the beginning of the season. Even after the loss last week, as hard as it was, I didn't come in here cracking on the Donks. The jury is still out, as far as I am concerned.
Though the Broncos have only played 2 good quarters of football out of 8, it was the last 2. So there is hope. I feel like the Broncos beat a pretty good football team. Congratulations on an earned win.
Next week you wont be so lucky.
p.s. Meck, ya wanna go again?

Last week, you didn't need to crack on the Broncos. There were plenty of Broncos fans doing that for you. We did play horrible for a game and a half. :gus:

The O still looks bad tho. The D has played 2 good qrtrs, but the Offense hasnt yet. They have played 1 good drive and thats it.
But it comes down to the OL, the last drive the holes were huge and Dayne took advantage of that. But during the whole game Plummer was running for his life. I hate it, but 3-step drops and quick plays might be what we have to do all the time if the OL continues to play bad.

The D played more than 2 good Qrts...they played as well as could be. The best thing about it is that they know what can be achieved. They will know that they can go out and shut a team down completely. Not think it is possible, but know it. Great Ds do not say we can play with anyone, they say they can beat anyone.

i agree. They did play good all game. They let in 2 td's but the O should have had at least 1 td in the first half.
and last week the D played as well as could be asked until they broke.

First I don't know what the hell your even doing here, shouldn't you be in the circle jerk for congratulating Collins for repeatedly looking off Moss?
WTF are you talking about "Low Profile"? That's starting idiotic threads that are summarily dismissed by everyone but yourself?
"Didn't come cracking on the Donks". WTF? You come to a rival board and give an insult and it's what exactly again? Fvuck off.
Gee, the Jury is out? Isn't the jury still out in K.C., Oakland, S.D. and Denver, yet alone New England, or Baltimore? Only team that has been dominant has been Philly. Your full of it.

Actually, defensively they have played 1 disastrous quarter with the whole secondary on the sidelines or should have been (Walls) for 14 points, 2 not so good quarters where they gave up yards but only 10 points, 2 very good quarters with only 50 yards and 10 points, two very good quarters with O points and the best quarter of football I have ever seen where they gave up -2 yards had two TO's and were 1-5 on third downs.
The common misperception is that teams have scored at will on this defense and they have NOT even when they moved the ball on four drives out of 24. 7 points have come off of Offensive TO's directly, and 17 indirectly. That is 24 points out 51. It is harder to play great defense with the Offense being responsible for half the points scored against you. Even when the Defense and ST's have given them Tremendous field position, the Broncos have scored 2 TD's in the last 21 instances of starting field position on the other side of the field. Meanwhile no other defense has started with more drives in scoring position than Denver in the last 19 games.

you were at camp, did you honestly think the O ws gonna be this flat and not execute??
Its quite embarrassing when the D plays so well but the O is trying to lose it. Any ideas on why they are doing bad?
-IMO it all starts at the OL, plummer has not had time and the lanes have not been open for the rb to run thru.

Inconsistency from the top down is the mother of all drive stopping, red Zone Failing, FG missing BS.
The playcalling has to be better, the QB needs to execute and make much better presnap reads, the OL needs to be tougher and more consistent HAT ON HAT, the receivers need to run crisper routes, they need to throw a lot more to the TE'sand RB's (especially Kyle Johnson) earlier to exploit eight in the box, and the RB's need to hit the hole faster and with more authority. Otherwise they will be fine;D

Easy mock. He made a good point. They WERE NOT DOMINANT versus ATL since they LOST and Trailed 14-0 and trailed for most of the game. Yesterday, PHI was dominant. The team that has been Dominant is PIT. Their Defense, running game, and Rothlisberger have been stellar so far.

agree. Pitt has been good in all phases of the game. Kinda surprisng that Big Ben had a good game yesterday tho considering the knee was banged up. But i guess the TExans werent that tuff an opponent.

They have not looked dominant, they made SF look like the team we all thought they were (btw Rams did not look all that impressive in week 2 vs Zona).
Dunn ran all over their run D. What they looked like is a team just above the parity line. They are far from dominant.
