Despite MAs best efforts to allow San Diego to win the game by fumbling AT the goalline, Ron Dayne destroyed the clock and moved the chains in the fourth.
Deltha O'Neal had 3 INTs today.
Courtney Brown recovered a fumble, sacked Brees and was all over the backfield all day.
Ian Gold had a stellar performance.
Champ Bailey runs back a pick for a TD
Nick Ferguson still blows. Can we cut him and resign Willie so we have someone that can actually COVER Gates Dec 31st?
Anyone laughing about Dayne and Deltha? Anyone still saying "Cut Courtney"?

I'm pulling for Courtney and Ron... but this thread is completely uncalled for. "I told you so"?

From day one the only knock on Courtney was durability. I don't recall anybody seriously challenging the idea that if he's healthy all season he's a great pickup for us.
......as for Deltha, he got a quite a few ints for us his 1st season - after that he stunk. The Bengals offense finally seems to be catching fire so the opposition is airing it out to keep up. No surprise that 1st year of Deltha's when he got all those ints was the only year that Griese played well and our offense was one of the top rated. The defense rated poorly overall in terms of yardage, and then in subsequent seasons when the offense struggled Deltha's limitations became all too aparrent.
...didn't actually SEE the game tonight, just got to hear the 4th on the radio, but i always rated Ferguson's cover skills: last week against Miami he seemed like the only guy who COULD cover....neverthless, he is a safety for a reason, I think corners make more dough....I hope you're wrong but i really can't comment...
....other than that totally agree with every word you say!

Uncalled for? Turn-coating is uncalled for. Everyone calling for Jakes head last week was uncalled for. Wanting to cut Courtney after his dislocation was uncalled for. This is not uncalled for.

Worthless thread.
Its a thread to show appreciation for players that can step it up and say goodbye to those who cant. If its really worthless the mods will move it, I dont mind.

Piss on anyone who jams on Randy Hilliard, too.
I would like to see any of you hang around the NFL for eight years with no discernable talent whatsoever. Yeah, right. If you could'a, you would'a.
I was the first one to realize Warren Powers was going to be an All Pro, too. When that light bulb finally clicks on, Warren and I will have the last laugh.
Suckers!

That sack by Courtney was great he took that left tackle and folded him over like a pretzel and jumped on top of Brees back and Brees crapped himself and wasnt worth sheat the rest of the game :-)!

And, by the way, I think this Elway trade deal is going to work out really well. I know we need help on the O-Line but I think this guy just might be special.

"?
Middlebrooks couldn't cover Gates any better. He is the best TE in the NFL. On passing downs I would have put Bailey on him and Walls on McCardell.

Gotta love the "I told you so" threads.
Reverand should really look into getting surgery to make it possible to suck his own d*ck, then these threads would never appear.

Hillard was great... well good. I liked Powers, I remember he was very big and seemed to get a good push. I guess he just never got any better and flamed out.

He had a name tailor made for Boomer Berman's Prime Time, "Here's the sack by Warren "Super" Powers!"
Unfortunately he never made a highlight worthy play.......:-/
