If you check out the John Clayton video clip, he says at the end that there were several teams that contacted Jesse Palmer, namely the Texans and the Broncos. Also the Patriots were supposedly interested as well.
Any word on whether he actually tried out for the team? Personally I'd rather BVP as backup, but it would be great to have a little "Canadian Content" on the team... well anything that's not "Bachelor" related anyways. :giggle:

I'd have to think there are better choices than Palmer, though he's never really been given a shot on the field.
What happened with Rohan Davey? I'd love to have Davey on the roster coming to terms with the playbook now just in case something does come up.

Hello? We already have 2 quarterbacks. If they're not even going to bring Middlebrooks back or cut Ernster, why would they sign ANY quarterback, let alone Palmer?

whats funny is palmer is better than plummer. Of course my sister is a better QB than plummer. sucks to be a bronco fan, besides that you guys cheat and all.

I'd rather have Clarett back than to sign Jesse Palmer.
The guy became a TV celebrity in New York and still couldn't even give the Giants enough incentive to keep him as the #3 QB (who'll never even see the field anyway) and instead lost the job to the worlds fattest QB.

Well said, I agree.
As far as Palmer goes, I haven't seen him play enough to really form any sort of opinion about him. I do know that Middlebrooks had a workout with the Bucs this week, but they did not offer him a contract.

I love that guy, it's like watching a left Tackle play Quarterback. It's almost impossible not to root for this guy.

What about Jordan Palmer?
He was 26 of 51 for 379 yards 3 TDs (2 ints). I guess he wasn't playing so well in first half. The 2 ints were in the first. BUT, from when I started watching, mid-way throught the third, he looked REAL GOOD.
Carson's little bro is 6-5 220 and a junior. He definitely looked the part. Somebody to keep your eyes on for the next couple of years.
Thoughts?

Please no!!! As a Broncos fan in NJ, I've had to endure watching this dude on the Giants and he's just not very good. Yet another UF QB who couldn't hack it in the pros.
