Fonoti practices, is expected to play for Chargers
Chargers guard Tonui Fonoti practiced on Friday and is expected to play in Sunday's game at Denver despite breaking his right hand during the week.
"There was no evidence of uncertainty or hesitancy on his part," coach Marty Schottenheimer said. Fonoti broke his hand in practice on Wednesday, and sat out Thursday's practice.
Defensive end Igor Olshansky, who has an injured leg, didn't practice and isn't expected to play. Also expected to sit out is rookie wide receiver Vincent Jackson, who has a calf injury.
Wide receiver Reche Caldwell left practice early with a balky right knee, but Schottenheimer said he was OK.
If Olshansky doesn't play, rookie Luis Castillo will make his first NFL start.
