That is certainly better than losing to a team that wasn't even good enough to beat themselves last year.

What a wussy fight. If he had done some steroids Reed could have broken Vilma's eye socket.

The NFL rules are only if 2 opposing players fight then they're ejected, I believe teammates are allowed to beat the hell out of each other though.

Someone should tell Michael Westbrook that. $50,000 fine for beating the hell out of Stephen Davis.

That is certainly better than losing to a team that wasn't even good enough to beat themselves last year.

In 2003, the Chargers couldn't beat anybody, and at the beginning of last year, no one thought they would be any good. By the end of the year, losing to them wasn't such an aberration. The Dolphins may prove out to be the same, one of the better teams in the AFC. Most 'experts' thought the major weakness of the Fins was at QB, and Ferrotte has always been a good QB, just not a great one. But he is a definite improvement over what they had last year.

Denver got killed on the road. The Chargers lost at home to a team that most people consider middle of the pack in a weak NFC.

We just have to wait and see how the next few weeks play out.

I still don't see why the Phins D isn't getting any respect here. They added Kevin Carter, Matt Roth, Keith "all I do is take up space and win rings" Traylor to a Dline that had a very good player in Jason Taylor. They still have Zac Thomas at LB and adding Channing Chowder didn't hurt at all. Tebucky Jones and Lance Schulters are two damn good Safteys and Madison isn't a bad CB either. I really think this D causes problems for many O's this year.

Sorry NU on the brain :bash:

The Dolphons have a good defense. I guess that gets lost in the Denver loss to them. No excuse though for the Broncs performance though.

And BTW, its not like Denver has ever had success running against Miami. Besides the playoff victory in 98 over them, Denver cant ever run the ball against them.

We lost badly to MIAMI in Miami during the regular season that year only to blow them out in Denver 38-3.
The boys took that one personally, let's hope they take the latest Miami loss personally !
