Its week one, we suck as going from a dry arid climate a mile high to sea level. It works both ways, people come to colorado and can't breathe, we go to sea level, and its like breathing water. Were we underwhelming? Sure we were, but we have two division games coming up, and dammit, we need to support our team, regardless of who's throwing bad, who's not catching anything. Thats why we are fans. How many years did Denver not even have a winning season. We are spoiled! Those fans would show up, get drunk, root for their team and hope for a win. More often than not, we'd lose, but they'd be back and root just as loud and proud the next week.

Shake off this loss everyone!!!!

Here's to next week and the Dolts!!!

When did Shanny get the team to Miami?

Usually if weather or altitude are an issue a head coach will try to get the team there ASAP to practice in it and get acclimated.

Although Im sure it was a factor for the defense later in the game, it should not have had as big of an effect on the O. It was all 3 and outs for the most part. I think this weather argument is BS.

Not that it made a bit of difference...but he said they arrived a day early to practice in the weather.

You're right - it shouldn't matter. Especially since it's summer in Denver too.

But I will say that the Pats always had a hard time down there in September. You didn't hear much about it because it was dwarfed by the more important late-season losses the Fins endured up here......otherwise known as "The December Dolphin Swoon". :)

You're the only one who responded so you got to be all by yourself, but you're right!!!

All Bronco Fans unite...our team desperately needs our support. Our defense needs you who go to be LOUD and BOISTEROUS. I want Brees to come out of this game with hearing loss due to crowd noise.

Denver better be fired up as hell for this game. If we dont come out with intensity in this game than they dont deserve a title

Slow down chief. After yesterday's performance, I think we can all forget about the words, title, championship and lombardi for a while. Some things must first be proven. Like winning a game, making the playoffs, and winning not one, but two or possibly three. Then we can use those words again.

When the NFL is especially hateful towards us, they make us go to Narrowhead in December where we have only won one time in our history.

****ing pricks did it to us again this year.

Every year we lay an egg at some point. It is usualy mid season so its easier to shake off because we know we are better than that. This one is tough because we haven't seen anything but, yet. We saw flashes in camp and preseason - this team is better than what we just saw.

Thats the point! We shouldnt be laying eggs, not at any point in the season. Its OK to be beaten by a better team, its NOT OK to lay a damn egg.

I do agree the team is better than what we saw however. I dont believe we will play that bad again unless we face indy in their house again. However, Im tired of laying eggs and looking like high schoolers out there.

Thank god some reason on the board. Its only one game and the last two years we have started out fast and ended terriblely . It all depends on the next couple of weeks and if we can win them two it will all be good . Imo jake is doing as good as job as he can and one thing that I like about him, instead of Greise is that he shows heart and will play is a$$ off every game . Lets go broncos :Broncos:

24 hour rule, bitches. Whine, celebrate, do whatever - but today is the last day for it.

Tuesday, we set our sights on those overrated San Diego fags.

The Eagles may lose. Carolina lost. Minnesota and their revamped D lost. The J-E-T-S were awarded the trophy for the worst loss of the week, not Denver. What do you think they're saying over there tonight?

The team sucked balls. If they're professionals, they'll look at it from every angle, patch it up and come out ready to bust some asses next Sunday.

Stay on the bandwagon.

Oh, and did I mention that I'll be in studio with Sean Salisbury every Friday afternoon throughout the season? Help me.

Honestly, who cares about one loss. Yes, it was sad, pathetic and everything in between. Doesn't matter. There are 15 more weeks to go and we could easily get this ship righted provided we stay healthy. If anything, this is a veteran team and this serves as a wakeup call. I rather start slow and finish fast then the opposite of the last few years. Don't forget that Pitt won 14 straight games last season after starting 1-1. I can honestly say that we have the horses to put together a pretty nice run still.

As pissed off as I was when I (tried to) watch this game, I tried to quiet my temper by telling myself that. It is just one game.

When virtually your whole secondary was subbed out early in the 2nd half and your #1 RB was out the entire game, usually things won't turn out well. Miami planned well, right down to having the Broncos on the sunny side of the field wearing home field darks. And Ferrotte played like he had something to prove too, it was like his own personal super bowl.

I've read in other threads how some mock the idea that week 1 was a trap game, but with the way circumstances played out, it had all the makings of a trap game.

I suspect the team will be better prepared next week.

So we choked, BFD. Denver had some young guys show the vets how to play Bronco football. That's fine with me.

Maybe the ugly people in the club level and the ones who constantly b*&%h and moan should wear those bags. I'll be fired up, and keeping my section loud and proud. This was an ugly loss, which I believe will do more good than harm. Mark my words!

Although our party yesterday turned into a wake, this humbling loss will help turn on the focus. POOR BOLTS!
