it does when you make a jump like that. Look at ND when they had Holliday trying to run the WCO. It won't work. USC sucked for sometime as does Penn State. The only thing NU had going for them was our D last year and that got F'd up because we had our 3rd D coach in as many years. Anyways I don't think you grasp the change over we had going last year. I can't think of a team that went through something like that and still went to a bowl game.

I don't know about three but two isn't out of the question. OSU has a damn good team but I stand by you need one QB to run the team not two. While I will agree that Smith looked better I'm not sold that he is the answer.

As for NU this year all of the sudden the Mizzu game doesn't look that scary and neither does the OU game. We still have to take one game at a time though because this team isn't there yet and looks like it still has some room to improve. I stand by what I said about us winning 9 games though. Its not out of the question.
