At the half down by three we should have changed a few things.
#1...Try regaining the tough running game.
#2...Try challinging the Dulphin LB'S against the pass in the middle.
#3... If the players didnt adjust as they should have, or even did, then give credit to the Dulphins. Perhaps we just cant compete!

I don't disagree in theory, but it is difficult to adjust with Items #1 and #2 above when your best O Line is being blown up 2 out of every 3 plays.

one thing shanny can't do is come back (post elway era). if his game plan doesn't pan out the first quarter, we are looking at a very long day.

Our ,"best O line" needs a face lift.
We here in Denver expect the best!

Looking ahead can be lethal.

We'll see how good my team is and how bad yours is (or vice versa) starting next week.

And that really the truth...the jackasses spend too much time watching sports center...they thought they were ready to go...they were wrong.

Shanny and Coyer have not ever been that great at half time adjustments. Hopefully thats something that we can improve on.

If they never have been great. How can they improve?

Look Shanny back in the day was solid in second half game plan adjustments. It seems that over time he has gotten burn out and to a point so full on himself. I don't see the same fire in his eyes as he once had.

What worries me is so many young and fresh minded cordinators have come into head coaching gigs. I get the feeling that Denver is stuck in 97-98.

The Dolphins played disciplined defense in their front seven today. We struggle when defenses react this way. Our offensive scheme relies on getting a lot of over pursuit and then cutting back against the grain, while our linemen try to cut anyone who comes through their zones. If a front seven stays within their areas of containment, they'll over power us.

Any situation that calls for good old fashioned drive blocking has to be finessed with some kind of gimmicky bullcrap. People are always busting Kubiak's balls about playcalling in the red zone. Let's see you succeed down there when teams know you can't pound the football at them.
