I was sick of these creaky old farts during their first farewell tour in 1982. Its like a sick joke that they're all still alive.

I AM MAJOR LEAGUE PISSED. THE LOCAL (DENVER) ABC FRANCHISE HAS DECIDED TO SHOW THE PREGAME SHOW AT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!

They've been hyping this thing for two months on the national network, and now some local programming bonehead decides we'd rather see the local news nerds and Wheel of Fortune?

I swear, I'd kill one of these mofos if I could get my hands on 'em.

"Keith Richards can not be killed by conventional weapons" Wayne's World 2

That said, I'm ready for some ****ing football. Get this **** off my TV.

I'm going to have to fix myself another Bloody Mary, half vodka, half mix.

Is this a trick question? ABC has Santana on. That's cool. I saw him live. Unreal. That old coot can still make the guitar sing.

Sir Mawn
09-08-2005, 05:40 PM
Santana playing Smooth! Pathetic. Most overplayed song in history... we barely got over it and he's at it again! I abhor Santana. Officially.

watermock
09-08-2005, 05:40 PM
Hey, it's Sandy from ESPN Fantasy football on the guitar with Santana.

If you don't like Santana, you have a deaf ear...I guess it doesn't go BOOM BOOM down the block.

I'm not watching any of that Hollywood bullshat.....@ 9 PM, I'll tune it in.

The Stones? These days stick to the sounds where the studio can bail them out, seeing them now is kinda like watching Jerry Rice now if ya know what I mean.

epicSocialism4tw

This is all a bit over the top. Ozzy looks like a 95 year old Janis Joplin in a Pats jersey.

I went to a Stones concert at Boulder Sun Day it was their "final concert"....

Ozzie is Ozzie, what can you say, that song is pretty good. I hear it enough randomly not to bother with going off on it. If I had to care for that nutso collection he calls family, I would be off my rocker too. It's no wonder he studders, his wife is brutal, his kids are abusive and spoiled, and unless you pointed Ozzie to the stage, he would get lost in the bathroom.

True... yet I'd rather see the Stones performing their new single than Santana playing a washed up hit from a couple of years ago.

They are all washed up. What's Mick's inspiration for his new tune? The unfairness of social security or how sexy ladies look in fresh depends?

Looks like Mick has more divots in his face than a golfball.

And I don't understand the NFL's affliction of pandering to non-fans by throwing in these cheezy pre-game shows with the likes of Santana, Bon Jovi and Janet Jackson's boob.

Leave the football entertainment to the players, that's their job. And put these "entertainment" retreads on Hollywood Squares where they belong. :gripe:

ABC owns ESPN, they are just flip flopping to get more people to get cable.
