If he could the his problem under control, he has chance to be good in that offense. Hopefully he does not cause problem with young wrs on that team

I agree, 3 big targets over 1 guy in Moss is a great exchange for the vikes, then add in a decent Defense and they should run away with the NFC North

yeah..
thats been the thing for the Vikes for quite a while. Living up to their ability.
The Randall Cunningham year was insane
That would have been a hell of Superbowl that year
Randall and John on the same field no longer what they used to be but in a very BIG way allot better
YEp that would have been one for the ages.
Freakin Reeves allways finds away to f)ck shiat up for us!!
LOL
on the serious tone especially with that new revamped D the offense should be on the field more, thats not a good thing. Tice MIGHT hold them back though.

I don't care who the starting back ends up being but it doesn't look like they plan on running the ball often. Bennett hasn't made it through a year in two years now (14 games the last two years combined). Smith is all but done, Mo who knows about Mo and Moore isn't all that proven. With the weapons they have in the passing game I just can't see then rushing 25 to 30 times a game like Tice said they would.

Yeah apparently Taylor is getting the starting nod next to Burleson with Robinson in the slot and Williamson starting out #4... what does this mean for Koren? Can you imagine having all 5 WRs with that type of talent?

He's pretty decent. Good route runner, good hands. Not really a #1 in my opinion, but a great #2 or #3 guy and he is their what, #4? Thats ****ing awesome.
Wish Denver had that problem.

I guess Koren isnt going to have to sit out 4 games like some of us thought. They say he will be ready to go by week 2.

No, Taylor is not the #4. He's starting with Burleson. If you weren't so high you couldn't read, you would've noticed that a couple posts up.

I wish Denver had the problem of trying to get all that talent at WR out there.
O wait... we do :homer:

Randy who? Don't know much about him other than he's been in trouble for alcohol and has dropsie disease. A change of scenery might really help him. I think he was a high pick and can get open just fine. Having Pep throwing to him can make anyone look good.
Campbell was a marginal WR used mostly for returns, and he had legal problems too. If your going to have a problem child, he might as well have legit talent. Campbell is a runt to boot. Good depth with huge upside.

Speaking of backs, the rookie RB Fasion? twisted his ankle pretty bad but should be back Bennett is nursing a sprained neck but not serious. The whizzinator is gone for the year. Mo W. is painfully slow, but always seems to get yards. It's totally baffling.
Muneer Moore will get alot of work, and he's underrated, just a little undersized to be featured.

Wait until you see Watts and Adams at work this year. They are going to be great.

I'd rather Devoe was #4... our #5 receiver is somewhat non-existent considering the extent of playing time our tight ends are going to see this year.

Murneer Moore?? HE was a wide WR for the Broncos that suffered a horrendous leg injury. Your thinking about Mulwelde Moore[SP]. He is a great RB, I was hoping Denver would draft him but the Vikes grabbed him in the 3rd round and that was just too high for Denver.

Yeah we only use a 3rd rounder on RB when a cant miss like Clarett is on the board!

LOL... I suppose your right. Who did Denver draft in the 3rd round last year??[2004]
I bet Moore would have been a much better pick. He averaged over 5 yards a carry and is a great reciever out of the backfield.

Yep...... Yeah I remember now I wanted Denver to draft Moore but when they drafted Bell I was like oh well, Plus Moore is not a big guy and probably can't be a number one guy over the full length of the season. But as it looks now Denver should have grabbed him.
I'm such a draft genius!!

I still think Minnesota will be more running intensive regardless. But trouble with a guy like KoRen Robinson is that he really struggles to catch the key ball in a key situation. We saw it time and time again in Seattle last year and I'm still not convinced that he can just get over the dropsies that quickly. If he blunders one away with C-pepp, I'd expect him to be warming that bench all year...

My typo. Mewelde (probably another typo) Moore. He's pretty good. Fasion will be back in a few weeks too. In the meantime, Mo Williams can take some reps.

I don't understand this facination with Miree, even on the PS. He even sucked in Europe. Aaron Hunt was Def player of the year I think. :kiddingme We allready put Cobbs on the PS.

K-ROB IN THE H-GOW
Vikings receiver Koren Robinson, praised on Monday night by ESPN's Joey Sunshine for his "proactive" approach to his struggles with alcohol, was arrested on Tuesday night for suspicion of driving while impaired.
Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Robinson is facing multiple charges, and that he was in jail as of Tuesday night.
The team was off Tuesday after Monday's preseason opener against the Raiders. Robinson was driving back to training camp on Tuesday night when he was arrested.
Robinson was suspended four games in 2004 for violation of the league's substance abuse policy. If still at level 2 of the program, the 2005 Pro Bowl kick returner faces a potential banishment from the league for at least one year.
On July 6, we reported that Robinson was back at a rehab facility, which prompted at first a flat denial from Robinson, a concession from his agent that Robinson was back in rehab, and then this explanation from Robinson: "I'm not in rehab; it's nothing like that," Robinson said. "I'm taking prevention classes so I won't have to go back to rehab or won't have a situation. I just wanted to get away, make sure I'm bulletproof. So I'm just trying to be proactive. When did it become not cool to be proactive?"
And "proactive" became the buzzword to describe Robinson's situation.
Though we don't know what prompted K-Rob to fall off of the wagon, the "real" media didn't do this guy any favors by taking his words at face value and heaping "attaboys" on him at a time when he apparently was still in need of real help.
