I keep tinkering with the idea of shelling out for X-Box Live, and may do it soon.

Anyways, my question is, since I've never had Live, can you download updated rosters from EA? Obviously, cuts have been made, players, like MOC, are on the Broncos squad in the game who didn't make the team in real life.

Second question, which I should have asked originally... Do they charge for the updated rosters?

No, but if not playing online you usually can find offical updated roster on the internet for number of sources (i.e other message boards) for free. That what I done, and a lot cheaper. The newest release from EA should happen this week.

Does it take a lot of time to manually enter the updates?

I played as the '98 Broncos the other day, only to find out that every # on the roster was incorrect. When I went in to change a few that I knew for sure off the top of my head (elway, davis, sharpe) it took a little bit of time.

I guess my question is, how long does it take to change 30 teams? I'd like to have every team current, not just the good guys.

Um... so ok, lets say that someone has a modified box and is looking to update the rosters on the hard drive. I'm just saying hypothetically here... is there a way to do that as well. Not that anybody should condone the use of modified consoles or something like that.

Thanks to anybody who can answer that hypothetical question. :)

I'm waiting for EA to come out with the updated rosters in .max format for PS2. I really should hook my PS2 up to the internet but it's a serious pain in the ass.

www.operationsports.com

they have updated rosters .... you need to hook up your xbox with your pc via ftp.

@ RhymesayersDU

theres a cheaper way than getting xbox-live. try www.xboxsaves.com ... theres some tool that allows you to hook up your box with your pc even if your box isnt modded. do some research ...

I have an updated roster for the PS2, it has all the broncos players up to date as of yesterday (excluding Mike Leach), all the other 31 teams are updated too.. now there are 3 "extra" Broncos that had to be on the roster because of the roster requirements... they are Nowland at backup center, Mauck (you can replace him w/ Kliff Klingsbury if you want) at 3rd QB and Clement at backup RT... if anyone wants this file in sharkport or xport format let me know, for those that don't have the xport, sharkport, or max drive I will host it in my EA locker if anyone wants to download it from me.... send me a friend invite online in Madden to xxxjelway7 and I'll accept and you will then be able to download the roster from my locker and the best thing is you don't have to have a sharkport, xport, or max drive..

Poor Leach can't even get any respect in Madden. I don't think he was there last year either.

If you bought any games within the past year, xbox gives you a free 2 month live subscription. Try it out, and if you like it sign up for a year.
