I'm not normally a betting man, but where could I place the bet at? It would have to be online since I live in Alabama and this type of stuff isn't legal in the state.

Bodog.com or betonsports.com

Bodog gives you 20% bonus for depositing by check so i play with them. PM me if you get set up and want more picks.

I hate the Jets bet. Line is all tainted because of Trints op, but the D interior of the Jets is just horrid and Abrahms was late into camp. I think KC will run the Jets D to death, and after last years start KC will be fired up for opener at home.

The Jets dont need to win... they just need to lose by a field goal, but I'd bet my soul that they beat the **** out of KC.

Thanks. The line is at -4 1/2 now. I take it that the negative numbers are for the team favored to win right? So as of now, Denver would have to win by more than 4 1/2 to win the bet correct?

If you are going to put your soul in harm's way at least do it for a righteous cause and bet on the Broncos!!

Yes it was -4 an hour ago but it must be moving either due to betters taking the spread or our pre-season domination against a shaky team. Take it quick.

Ballhawk- I did bet on the Broncos... in both parlays and a $40 bet to beat the spread.

Hey I just signed up. It won't let me log in yet and I am waiting on the email from them.

Its an easy to use interface but sometimes signing up and making that initial deposit can be frustrating. After that it's clear sailing. Like I said, PM me if you want to talk about more picks. Good luck.

I will. Thanks again. I had to talk to the wife and make sure she didn't have a problem with me doing it. lol. Anyway, I'll just wait for the email.

Lock of the Week is the Vikings.
Unfortunately the spread has moved on most of the games I liked.
I put my money down about 4 weeks ago, so at least I secured the spreads for myself.
Unfortunately I have them in ridiculous accumulators!

Will VBookie be up and running soon?

I like the Vikings too but Id rather go with a few other teams given the spreads and their opposition. 6 points is a lot to give up. Then again I was willing to give up 8 for the Pats over the raiders.

Lord, I've always been a little hesitant when it comes to gambling. Never really got into it all that much. But I'm playing with the $20 initial deposit ($24 after the bonus) and taking your word on those parlays. $12 on each. If I hit both, I get $295 and I fall in love with you.

Looking at the current lines, those do look good. How successful have you been in the past?

Thats a concern... might want to try their contact #. Usually their responses are pretty on the ball

For what? Bodog?

The Vikings are normally very reliable in early season games spread-wise
We shall see!

Betting in week one has proven to be suicidal for me, over the years, but I'm willing to listen to some more advice...

I don't like the Chicago pick on the road against Washington. Washington's will (hopefully) have a terrible season, but Chicago's offense against Washington's solid defense on the road? It's a toss-up IMO.

Who do you like, Slap?

Slappy is normally one of the most reliable tipsters around here.

For while 'Mock's Locks' were going pretty well too.
