DenverBroncos.com reports Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan says LB Ian Gold could have a big season for the Broncos in 2005. "He's had one heck of a preseason and hopefully he can stay healthy," Shanahan said. "If he stays healthy, I would not be surprised if he's in the Pro Bowl."

That's good. Ian should have high expectations.

He didn't always respond well under pressure in Cleveland, so I would like to see him fly under the radar for as long as possible in Denver. One thing that will bring him quick publicity is Shanahan's idea of using him at fullback in the red zone. This is a brilliant idea because you know Gerard has to enjoy the attention.
