On DT Gerard Warren (8/5)
“I think he’s doing great. He’s one of our leaders. He’s a great hustler. He does everything you ask him to do. From what I’ve seen of him in the first week, I’d be disappointed if he’s not in the Pro Bowl. It’s just the way he plays on a day-to-day basis — the way he works, the way he hustles... I just expect him to play at that level because of what I’ve seen thus far in this camp.”

That's good. Ian should have high expectations.

I would prefer Shanahan downplay this kind of talk for Warren, though. He didn't always respond well under pressure in Cleveland, so I would like to see him fly under the radar for as long as possible in Denver. One thing that will bring him quick publicity is Shanahan's idea of using him at fullback in the red zone. This is a brilliant idea because you know Gerard has to enjoy the attention.

I love watching Gerrard play as fullback...

Speaking of loving to watch people play as fullbacks, keep your eye on that Weaver kid out of Seattle. I watched him on a few carries last night, and he looked like Natrone Means.

Mike Anderson, Tatum Bell, or Ron Dayne. They all could have Pro Bowl seasons if given the chance on this team.

He'll have to drop a few hundred grand in the titty bars before you can mention him in the same breath with Natrone.

He brought him back and gave him an 8.5 million dollar bonus. If your expecting him to say, "Well we arent too happy with what he's done" dont hold your breath.

Speaking of need for attention, get rid of that avatar. WTF up with that. I don't even read the first half of your posts so I don't have to look at that.
