No big deal - no big surprise - the only person who thought Fred Ex was any good was Fred Ex.

Make sure to thank your feet when you take a hike for the second time in the last few months Freddie.

No kidding. Esp when they have been saying that you would be playing in the final PS game, then they just up and cut you before then.

Boob has a habit of vanishing. I was waiting for Boob "imminent signing of Corey Simon, Peerless Price and Peter Warrick thread". They didn't sign even one. All need positions. Their starting WR I honestly don't know who half are.

Considering that both of them torched your secondary for touchdowns last year, you might want to read up on it.

Kieep dreaming Boob, the fact is the thing that drove your team was a dominant OL. Deon't even tell me about Fred X, Johhny Morton or God knows who on that WR crew. Defensive help will be too little, too late, and too expensive. Everyone knows what is going to happen except you.
Your the guy that see her wife go out for "girls night out" and takes a shower right when she comes home at 3 am.

Why would I give a **** about Freddie Mitchell? It's similar to the Maurice Clarett situation, except we didn't lose a draft pick.

Hey if you guys are happy with your WR's. There are no problems here!

From what I can tell, the reason he was cut is because the Chiefs couldn't trust that the meniscus that he tore in his knee 3 weeks ago would hold up so they weren't going to save a roster spot for him. That is why it wouldn't have really mattered what he did in the last preseason game.
From what I've read, if he had just gone ahead and had the surgery, KC would've considered some way of holding on to him since the rehab time for the procedure isn't that long. Sounds as though they might still bring him back after he's recovered from the surgery in a month or so.

I'm satisfied. To a point, your receivers are only as good as the QB is getting them the ball and, also to an extent, the QB is only as good as the O-line blocking for him.
With Green at the helm, our WR's will be just fine.
But while Green has been saying he'll be ready to start in the opener (and I have no reason to think otherwise) a part of me is still ansy about his prospects.

I would definately worry about Stent Green. You don't know for sure until he plays a game or 2.

Everyone gets lucky once, one day when you grow pubes you may have an icky experience with a girl only to run back to your daddy's basement & your Bobba fet & Jonny Morton posters.
Parker only had a handfull of catches all year & KFC paper was calling for his head until he got the one long TD vs us in a blow out. Quitterson will drop as many as he catches. Quittersons does have big games against us but playing us 2 times a year has never put him in the Pro-bowl or SB.

Again Boob no one is scared of a number one WR with a career 46 catches, 698 yards, 3.5 tds per year avg.
Bob's your Information Minister
09-02-2005, 07:53 AM
I bet Trent Green's career average per year sucks too, since he didn't even PLAY FOR SEVEN YEARS.
Kennison had numbers comparable to Lelie last year. Now run along.

Parker didn't even PLAY for the first three quarters of the season. He was hurt at the beginning of the year. The KC papers said NOTHING EVEN CLOSE to what you are insinuating.

Again, comparable numbers to your WRs.

Well Boob, Eddie started his career so I guess Green not being good enough to start for his first 7 years has little to do with this. Also Lelie ISN'T our number 1 guy so go **** yourself. But just for you lets look at Lelie's and Kennison's first three years in the NFL. Eddie had 96 catches, 1562 yards, and 10 tds. Now lets look at Lelie's numbers, even though Eddies will be tough to beat! Ha! 126 career catches, 2237 yards and 11 tds. So Lelie's avg is 42 catches, 746 yards and, 3.66 TDs. I could be wrong but it looks like Lelie is well ahead of the GREAT Eddie 5 teams in a 5 year span Kennison.

Kansas City Star had an article before the Bronco game slamming Sammie said he needed to stay out on the field & stop dropping easy catches. I remember because it turned out he got the one long pass against us. They were considering him a bust before the game.
Again, comparable numbers to your WRs.
Rod had 1144 yds on 79 catches our #2 wr Ash had 1048 on 54
Chefs only had 1 WR barely break 1000 yds on 60+ catches. That is not compareable, it is BETTER. Chefs didn't have another WR break the 800 yd mark. TG had 1200+ yds but he is not a WR. Parker only had 134 yds all year & he is your new #2! Tough when your TE has more yds receiving than your #1 WR

Kennison was out part of the season, or he would have likely smoked your boy Rod.
Anyone saying Gonzo is not a reciever hasn't been paying attention. He litterally lead the league in receptions. If that's not a reciever, then I dont know what is.

I was talking by Position. Traditionally a TE does not lead your team in catches or total yds. turns out the WR on Chefs are so bad TG had to do it all.
BTW I have heard that the entire Chef team all "Receive"...not that there is anything wrong with that!

That is a big word for a Chef Fan to use, litteraly!
How bout using the word "Almost" as in Chef's Almost had a league Reception leader, or Chef's Almost went to playoffs, or Almost went to AFC Championship game in 96.
