Peerless Price, WR ATL
News: According to multiple reports, WR Peerless Price met with the Patriots two days after being released from the Falcons.
Huh? Are the Pats going to run a 6 wide??? Givens, Davis, Brown, Terrell, Branch, and maybe Price? Thats alot of good WR's to thow to.

Man I hope not. Somebody else has to sign that guy. I'd want Shanny to sign him just to keep him away from NE.

** Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports WR Peerless Price's agent contacted the
Eagles but they aren't believed to be interested. He does have a scheduled
workout with Miami. But the smart money is on Dallas, where Price already
visited. He would be reunited with Drew Bledsoe and don’t forget they hooked up
94 times for 1,252 yards & 9 TDs with Buffalo in 2002.

Man NE keeps coming up with ways to get great players for cheap....they are going to be tough to beat. I wonder who they cut?? I'm betting Terrel!!

They keep hyping up Terrell in NE too. Living in Bears country here, I have never seen the guy do much of anything that impressed me.
In fact one of the chicago papers imposed his head onto a drawing of a baby in a stroller and a passifier. Funny stuff

There has been speculation that Terrell may be cut to get down to the final roster #.

Don't forget the Pats still have Bethel Johnson too. He is injured at the moment, but if they drop him the Broncos better be all over that! As good as DWill can be, Bethel Johnson is proven!

Actually, sports radiofolk are saying that Bethel could also be cut. The guy has great speed and has been a contributor in the past, but apparently Belichick has had some issues with him and that's not a good sign.

Well I left off guys like Tim Dwight and PK Sams as well. Dwight is a pretty good return mand and Sams has alot of up side. They are very deep without Price and it would become a mess with Price.

And I bet not a wisper of that ever hits the news. Oh the mighty Pats took a chance on a guy and it didn't workout. Atleast they tried.

Price will end up in Dallas. Parcells is scared to death of Glenn's injury history. He's also thinking about making Crayton the 3rd WR and he is very inexperienced. Morgan hasn't been doing much and has said he would like to find a new team. He'll likely be cut as well. I'd love to have either Morgan or Bethel Johnson in Denver. Think of Bethel as a proven Triandos Luke. They are very similar. Both extremely fast and both can make plays. It's just that Bethel has done it in games and played for a very good team. He knows how to win. I've seen him make some diving catches that would make Marvin Harrison hit the replay button!
Quincy Morgan is a big (6’1”, 215 pounds) fast receiver. Morgan provides a downfield playmaker and can use his size against smaller defensive backs. A couple years ago, Morgan caught 56 passes for 950 yards and seven touchdowns playing for the Browns.
I'd say bring either of them in!!!

It would be hard for Price to sign with the Pats while he's sitting in Jerry's box in Dallas tonight.

I highly doubt it. He's proven, versatile, and immensely popular among pretty much everyone.

Troy Brown is as popular in NE as guys like Tom Brady and Teddy Bruschi!

Yes it would but it doesn't mean that he couldn't end up there.

I thought I read at lunch that Price signed with the Cowboys, please correct me if I am wrong.

Price and Drew got along pretty well in Buffalo though. Morgan would have to be the odd man out there. I never liked Glenn much and Key is on his last legs as well. I guess its better if he goes there then NE or even KC, but I still want him to go to Philly to play next to TO. Plus if TO starts acting up they have a fall back plan.

B!tch slapping a min waged Parking Valet was pretty impressive. This guy was a big Duche & the Great Billy B lost the only ounce of respect I had for him when he picked up Terrell.
My lasting Memory of DT was after like week 6 or 8 he FINALLY scored a TD & then pulls a stunt where he sat & counted his money, I wonder if he counted out $500k per TD as I think that is what his career in Chi-town worked out to.

I would have to say I would jump all over Bethel Johnson if he becomes available. He can make catches & I love his speed & return abilities. We could cut what ever schmo we have at #5 or 6 to pick Bethel up.
