Maddox had a defense.

And 16 interceptions in 12 games. That equals 23 interceptions in 16 games.

Did I mention he lost his job to a rookie?

Technically, Maddox never lost his job. He got injured, and his replacement never lost a game.

He certainly didn't do anything to win it back in training camp this year. Maddox must not be very good if he can't beat out a second-year QB in training camp.

Of course with the way Big Ben has played this preseason, Maddox might have a shot yet. :~ohyah!:

Why is it that everytime in the past year you have mentioned the "Roethlis Burger" breakfast food they are now selling, you seem to bend over backwards each time to point out its ingriedients like we even care, always remembering to mention the word SAUSAGE ?

SoCal, don't try to corrupt my mind with your gay fantasies. Hilarious! That’s why I bet you love Lelie so much, so you can call him “Ashley” all the time. LOL That may be the thing southern California, but I am from Pittsburgh. Hilarious!

Yeah, some Pittsburgh native you are, you root for the Flyers.

At least the name Ashley Lelie sounds somewhat feminine.

Ben Roethlisburger AKA BIG BEN sounds like someone who would make you digest the fresh batch of protein through your sigmoid colon.

What does that have to do with anything? Are you a fan of the Kings or Lakers? I have nothing against the Pens. They were great in the early 90s, but I'm a Flyers fan.

The Boy Wonder :super:

Its relevant because last year right after the draft when you came out of the closet as a Squealer fan, you tried to justify it by saying you were a Pittsburgh native i.e. your only rooting for the teams in the cities where you grew up as opposed to just bandwagoning.

But if this was really true, you would support ALL the Pittsburgh teams. So the fact that you are a Flyer fan, a team not only not in Pittsburgh, but in addition a bitter rival of Pittsburgh shows all along...all this "I am not bandwagoning, I am a Pittsburgh native" stuff was merely pretextual.

Hey, did he win the game? Ben scramble on a crucial 3rd down in overtime to get the Steelers a 1st down and continue the game-winning drive. Granted, he got lucky as hell with the Jets kicker missing 2 straight fgs, but did contribute in the victory.

Why do you need to mention the fact that the Pens were a great team in the early 90's.

Almost sounds as if you abandon them after their dominant reign.

Tribbey, bring up the my post where I stated I was a Steeler fan. And that was way before Big Ben was ever selected by the Steelers.

Bottom line, if Trent Green had a defense even CLOSE to Pittsburgh's, he's probably the owner of at least one SB Ring.
