The St. Petersburg Times reports that former Denver Broncos rookie RB Maurice Clarett has signed a minimum wage deal to work at Burger King.

It's true he was hired.
But since has been let go. Reportedly he wanted to only work at the cash register from 3:00 - 4:00 PM.

This just in it's been reported that Clarret has pulled a hamstring and sprained his ankle while changing the grease in the deepfat fryars. A Burger King spokesman has said it was a freak accident and looks like he may be out 8 to 10 weeks.

They say he stands off by himself and prefers to work the drive up window because there is less people contact.
He also signed a contract to be paid not by the hour but by the number of super size orders he sells at the drive up window.

He passed up the regular minimum wage and went for a performance bonus on burgers served. This injury seems to have left him broke with little money.
It was also reported he worked one shift only at KFC and got released because too many of his customers complained their extra crispy chicken had a bite out of the legs when they opened the box.
