Im glad we go with the smaller offensive line rather than these 300 pound giants that others average. Given all the problems with overweight lineman in the NFL i would think other teams would go the route that we took.

Better yet...how about using #1 picks on guys that are both big and athletic, the best of both worlds.

Yeah the small oline works good to get to second level of D but sucks for pass blocking and short yardage. Our oline was getting pushed into plummers face against indy.

Small...compared to what?...those guys on our line are still a health risk to themselves....they're just the lowest

Reading a few of my post, huh. :wiggle:

Seriously, though, a small atheletic line doesn't cut it anymore in today's NFL. You need a bigger more athletic line. I think we have been moving in this direction for a few years, and we will continue to go that route. In the end, it wont make it neccessary for us to have a overly mobile QB, but you know Shanahan still loves having one. But it will allow us the luxory of picking up something, I think, Shanahan values even more than Mobility, and that is ACCURACY!!!

Or, more accurately, accuracy.
