These three are some of our best and brightest on this board. Blak-Argentina doesnt post too often but he is a really friendly guy in the chatroom during games. Pacino has done a fine job on OF1 and is good poster. My boy Breck, a fellow Cane and a great poster here ....stud!

Thanks for all the Birthday Cheer everyone! sorry I didn't get a chance to post earlier to say thanks but I was busy on OF1 all day today, but I got only part of my birthday wish...Denver got the win but Manning didn't hurt himself for the year! Well once agin Thanks to everyone and all you O-Maners who got to come down to the game today and have some fun and sharing my B-Day!

I spent my birthday up at the Boulder Reservoir watching the AVP Boulder Open and a lot of ass slapping from 2004 Olympic Golden Girls Kerri Walsh and Misty May.

Ex-University of Colorado indoor volleyball player Rachel Wacholder and her partner Elaine Youngs upset the previously unbeatable May and Walsh in the women's final. Is there any other sport besides beach volleyball where the women take center stage and get to play the prestigous final championship game over the men? I can't think of any.

And for the ladies & Bob, Todd Rogers and Sean "not William" Scott upset Stein Metzger and Jake Gibb in a rather boring men's final.

The AVP puts a good product out there for the fans; lots of eye candy for both the men and women on the court and in the crowd, good competition in the men's field (though seriously lacking star power), and a compelling rivalry between May/Walsh and Wacholder/Youngs. The event was packed today and it was a fun day for the fans; the crowd really got into it during the men's and women's finals.
The most exciting "game" though, had to be the wet musical chairs battle during an intermission between the women's semis and men's final. These 5 CU coeds were going at it hard for the winning prize, a Sirius satellite radio unit. A few of the girls were literally tackling each other and wrestling trying to win. It wasn't a very family friendly spectacle but my friends and I along with most of the crowd wasn't complaining.
