Maybe, Maybe not. If he is cut he won't last a week on the market before someone signs him.

Pope or him are out the door. They do have starting experience and youth, but other than that havent built the most impressive resumes.

I was a huge Pope fan his rookie year. But he has never built on that first impression. I would take Fatefehi over Pope. He has a better motor.

With double D finally coming on it might be bye-bye for both.

Man, I must be the biggest Fatafehi homer on this board. There's something to be said for guts, hustle, determination, and being a great locker room guy. Fatafehi has all of those things and will be on the Broncos final roster.
I GUARANTEE IT.
Pope may very well be cut, but I think that the Broncs DL will be Pryce, Warren, Myers, Brown, Ekuban, D Davis, Fatafehi, and Engelberger. If they keep 9 it will be either either Coleman or Pope (depending entirely on if they wanna keep and extra DE or ST.)

You're insane if you think Fatafehi gets cut. He's a young player who does everything the coaches ask. He's not an explosive, penetrating player, but a guy who does a great job holding up two OL and plugging rushing lanes. That type of two gap player is critical to have if you want Warren to take advantage of his athletecism and one gap so he can get to the backfield.

A week? He won't last a day! Monsanto and Palepoi, though, probably longer - maybe a few days or even weeks. It's a shame, too, because last year when the chips were down, Anton Palepoi (is he Polynesian too?) came in here and gave a HUGE shot in the arm to an anemic pass rush.
What must it have been like for Anton in the off-season - watching as, one by one, the Browncos headed west -
And then - just as he's clinging to hope - Trevor signs for bargain basement money!
And then - just when he's counting roster slots on his toes (while he crosses his fingers), here comes Jonh Engelberger!
He deserved better. I hope he lands somewhere.
MONSANTO POPE I'm not so worried about - he's an ordinary player who received a too-high salary slot after he was drafted too-high. He got himself on alot of film last year - more than his skills deserved. If he's any good, he'll get picked up.
After all these posts, though, the depth chart still has FATAFEHI and POPE on second string, and ELLIS and DAVIS third. So maybe we're jumping the gun here?

Palepoi is young and does have some skills to get up the field. Hmmm....maybe we keep Palepoi in a youth move and say see ya and thanks to Coleman and Ellis. I do believe that D.D. is firmly entrenched on the 2nd team. That depth chart on db.com hasn't been updated in a while.
The more I think about it the more I think that Pope might get cut. Damn. There go all of my catholic jokes for the season!

I remember Fatafehi getting away with that dance a couple of times when he was at K-State. Even "no fun" Bill Snyder let him get away with it. I think he secretly enjoyed it, as well...
