Go to your magazine stand and pick up this issue...There is an article in there rating the best tailgaters in the nation...
Guess who got number one?
"HAIL MIGHTY BRONCOS. PRIDE OF THE WEST"
Some highlights:
"Last season, the Orangemane members from around the country converged on Canton Ohio, for the induction of the greatest Bronco of all time, John Elway, into the Pro Football Hall of fame," Says Mark Novak , an area real estate agent who's known as "Ol Number 7" at the lot parties.
"Our tailgate coordinator rented a lot across the street from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and for three days we partied through the induction ceremonies and the game the following day," Novak recalls. "Chris Burman of ESPN said it was the largest show of support by any team at any time during the Hall of Fame history. For three days, the whole street was a sea of orange.
These guys that take their tailgating and their football-seriously. "We do it at a MILE HIGH!" says Steve "Meck 77" Fesch of www.ORANGEMANE.com. "We have the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains on one side and downtown on the other." They stay in "parking lot shape" by tailgating continuously on the Web site.

Gives me a good reason to go pound pitchers and stare at titties this evening. Thanks for the headsup TJ. WOW! Meck and Ol Number 7 are tailgating legends.
I also like the fact the Chief fans got snubbed out of the top three. I get sick of hearing about their 10 year tailgating tradition of KC BBQ. Arrowhead was a dump in the early 80s where you could hear the crickets chirping.

We'll be there Phobia. Last year they stuck us way out in no mans land behind the Royals Stadium logo but we had a good ole fashion Broncos tailgate with alot of other RVers. It was a great time. http://72.22.74.110/BB/showthread.php?t=24933
The Orangemane also owns 8 seats in the heart of your endzone for this game. A chief fan sold us 8 of his seats 9 rows from the field. ;D
MILE HIGH SALUTE ORANGEMANE! Beers and Hooters wings all around! I have a feeling when you guys get to town Hooters just might become a regular OrangeForceOne bus stop.
Why not? What goes better with tailgating then beautiful women in orange, beer, BBQ wings, and a big orange Hooter's colored bus? :militia:

Thanks Med but this article isn't about me. It's about the great city of Denver, the long tailgating history of the Denver Broncos fans and the members of the Orangemane and Broncos Country. None of this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the effort of ALOT of people that include TJ, all the guys of http://www.westwerkes.com/ who helped me build the bus, the members here who offered up their ideas and volunteered to help with the tailgates, and my girlfriend who understands when I'm in "Meck Mode" is what she calls it. I want to make a special shout out to my earliest internet connections Spider, Doc, Bo, TNT and the rest of the BroncoManiax. We started a board over 4 years ago and organized our first tailgate. That is where I ran into DiscoMan. It was about 9:00am at old Mile High and him and I were the only two people in the lot setting up tailgates. He strolls over to me and says "Want a shot?". At the same time I was offering him a beer. We've been tailgating ever since and the party has grown nationwide with the help of you guys!
Now with the new Broncos Country campaign the Broncos have really stepped up to help the fans enjoy the Broncos experience. They have some exciting plans in the works. Stay tuned to the Broncos website as they roll out some more phases of the plan. You guys are going to like it!
Most impotantly all we can do as fans is be the 12th man. Some may say it doesn't make it difference but there is a guy named John Elway who will disagree. It is the fans that kept him going when critics said he was washed up. He has gone on record many times thanking the fans for supporting the team. IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE! When the game is on the line in the 4th quarter @ Mile High that is when the fans become apart of the game and can make a difference. The Broncos fans have been doing it since 1960 and we can help this team win another superbowl someday (hopefully soon). We Broncos fans are all the same WE ARE THE 12th MAN in ORANGE!
Together we are revitalizing Mile High to her glory days!

I don't know if you can pick up the issue in all parts of the U.S. today, Ol # 7 called me and said it's not in St. Louis yet. One of the swimsuit girls is from Colorado!

While I'm thinking of it......
After someone is in a magazine, doesn't the magazine usually offer a "reprint" for a few dollars.....you know, like if it was a nice restaurant review the owner would like to hang it proudly in his establishment. And it's a high-quality original kind of thing....not something that someone ripped out of a magazine in their doctor's waiting room. :)
You get the point. Get the quality version to hang on the bus (that's all I'm sayin'!).
