I'm all for having solid utility players. But at cut time, they're not the folks I want to ask a bunch of questions of.

Point taken. I don't like player Q & A's in general. Most players don't give very interesting answers.

I agree with you to a point. I'd like them a lot more if the person selecting which player gets interviewed had the audience in mind a little more. For instance, this would be a great time to ask Jake what he thought of Todd Devoe... who he is on the same page with... What it is like to throw a pass to Jerry Rice... Which runningback he was most confident handing the ball off to... etc. I can think of a hundred meaningful questions for team leaders right now...

I honestly can't think of one thing I care to learn about Patrick Hape this week. And that's not meant as a slam at Hape. It's just the reality of where we are at with regards to timing.
