I think it is pretty obvious that the Raider O is going to be pretty good. but defensively they still have issues and will essentially be the Chiefs of the last couple of years. your just going to have to hope you can outscore everyone else.

well, i saw Jordon first hand in Maryland so i know he is a good back. he showed a lot of promise in NY and i think he was a very good pickup for the fade. i think he will do well with you guys but i wanna know what the scoop is with Vargas. he seems like a very fast guy but what is the story on him? are they not sold on his abilities?

Yea, your scrubs beat their scrubs.... who cares about pre-season wins/losses, it's all about what your first team does vs theirs

Not really. That being the case you cant compare the Denver Oakland games because Denver's starters didnt play as long as Oaklands did (being they played in the second game and Denver played in the first).

At least we know that we have much better depth than Jokeland.

And Plummer has yet to throw an interception while Collins has :P

Fargas is fragile, I don't have any idea what the deal is with him, he does not possess the ability to be a every down back, he is fast but is not real handy with holding on to the rock in my opinion.

He gets hurt quite a bit and does not appear to have an eye for the whole the D creates for him.

Makes sense, he is rather small but perhaps they will use him in third down situations. None the less, Jordan is a bruiser so i expect him to create some issues for opposing defenses.

We need atleast a middle of the pack D and a running game and we will be tough.

I think the running game will be there because people will no longer stack the box on 2nd and 6 etc. because of risking one on one vs one of our quality WR's

Gonna be a fun year, we have to have a middle of the pack D though to be successful.

Fargis reminds me of Marcus Allen without the Talent, He runs with the same look staight up and down. He is a career back-up

It doesn't really matter. The Raiders D is going to be laughably bad this year. Teams are going to run on them so much, I figure the Raiders finish dead last in time of possession.

So far in Pre-Season the opps second half and very few first half yards have come by way of the pass.

Hell with the numbers the Cheaps put up last season, they should be nowhere close to the bottom,
Their O stayed on the field for the majority of the game, they should be atleast middle of the pack.

Raiders D stayed on the field the whole game, the D sucked and were tired.

No excuse for KC though

The best part of Justin Fargas rolled down Huggy Bear's leg and wound up a brown stain on the mattress.

Mock won't like the mocking of his boy.
Like the legion of busted pick mocks has championed, he's been steadily distancing himself from Huggy Jr.

I need to find that post where mock was fantasizing about Clinton Portis and Donte Stallworth getting down with a bunch of groupies. Still the single most disturbing post in Orange Mane history.

Unfortuneatly, Oakland's first team performance against Houston's firsts was far superior to ours. Collins still made a poor throw that resulted in an INT but he was otherwise very sharp.

Yea that was a poor throw by Collins, about his only blunder of the night, he went 14-18-2-1 for the night, he had moss wide open but instead of just lofting it up high he decided to throw a laser and the Defender just stepped right in front of it and made the easy INT, I am sure Moss probably told him to just loft it in a situation like that but I think Kerry underestimated the defenders speed and thought possibly he was as slow as Kerry is.

None the less, after the guy made the INT, Gallery raced, and yes I said Raced across the field and totally demolished the ball carrier.

It was a thing of beauty even if it was on a INT play.

Its only preseason but so far the Chargers first stringers are raping the Rams first stringers on both sides of the ball.

Pretty damn good play so far.
