Whew, that was close. Don't F with the football Gods. They're some pagan mofos. I'll be back later. Gotta go sacrifice an orange and blue goat.

I'll throw out a prediction. The Broncos will not go 0-16.

I think I might make one this year, just for drama.

13-3, mark my words. Shanahan will use BVP as a goal-line specialist to solve our Red Zone problems. He will be the only player in the NFL (besides Bettis) who plays 10 downs a game and scores 28 points. His QB rating will be astronomical. Women will weep. The sky will turn black as sackloth. and stuff.

im as superstitious as it gets, but predicting the obvious isnt part of my LONG LONG list of superstitions.

that being on the table i have no problem saying that barring MAJOR injury setbacks (knocking on wood as i type. that IS one of my superstitions), we WILL win the division and we WILL host a home playoff game, and we WILL win that game.
beyond that im not going to guarantee anything, but let me put it like this:

the only think im afraid of is indy in indy.
we havent had a halfway healthy defense the last two years, but even if we DID, its indoors and they are just a bad matchup.
no one else scares me.

this is going to be a great season.
