Surprised nobody is really talking about this. Its pretty scary if you've ever been in a port like this one. Not very secure really.

We can't put up with this kind of crap.

I also saw this morning that the Saudi's had killed the number one Al Quida guy in their country and have now killed 24 of the 26 guys they have on their list of terrorist leadship residing in their country. Guess it was the guy who beheaded the American and left the headless body on the doad a few months back.

My big question is why can't we find Bin Laden and his folk and cut the head off this snake. I realize there are more than one snake, but this is the big one.

Well, if it was a military force or country attacking us we could get them right back. Over 1 billion Muslims in the world in a hundred or more countries. Seems that many of them want to destroy us. The sooner we kick big oil to the curb and get out of the ME the sooner our safety increases.

That place is a hole we should have cut out to sea and lobbed a few dozen cruise missles onto the government buildings.

Jordan gov't buildings? I don't think so hotrod...they are one of the few countries that get along with us well. Next to Israel they are probably one of our biggest supporters over there.

Your correct this kind of story just strikes a nerve with me being in the Navy myself. I know how vulnerable you are in port. Just pisses me off is all.

Yeah I understand. Those rockets are extremely unreliable and inaccurate anyway if that counts for anything.

Not sure there is a lot we can do about it except hunt those down that did it, but there are more to replace them.

The only thing we can really do is to get iraq done and over with and come back home. And when we do we must develop alternative fuels to get off of oil's tit. I don't think Bush is the president to do it though his political power will be minimal (due to the fact he is almost out) by the time we get out of Iraq (which I suspect will be about 18 months).
