Washington signs DB Brown
Ashburn, VA (Sports Network) - The Washington Redskins signed veteran strong safety Eric Brown on Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Brown, a second round pick of the Denver Broncos in 1998, appeared in 13 games for the Houston Texans last season and tallied 15 tackles.

Fortunately, the Broncs are putting together better drafts, beginning with this year. Brown, Kennedy, Gold, Pierce all 2's I believe, and one Pro Bowl out of all of them. And the one was Gold on ST's.

Eric Brown is the perfect example of why we shouldn't too excited about a rookie's performance in training camp. Remember, he won the job out of training camp over Tyrone Braxton on the 1998 squad.

Man, did that guy talk a way better game than he played. He used to dive clean under the turf to avoid taking on big ballcarriers head up.
