View Full Version : Kaylore, What Kind of Personality Does Mike Shanahan Have at Practice?

I was wondering about the personalites of our coaches. Who is the type to get into your face and chew you out over a play? Who is calm, cool and collective?

What does Shanny do most of the time? Does he yell at the players for making a bad play? Does he get in their faces? Are the players in awe of him? Do they hang on his every word? Or is he the laid back type?

Thanks beforehand for the response!

Shanny sits in his lawn chair and smokes cigars while Kubes hits golf balls at the WRs...Larry Coyer wears purple short shorts and tank tops while teaching the LBs how to dance...

He personally watches over all the drills that need the most work (redzone drills, running game, special teams today). He generally just stands and glares and will say things to each of the coaches occationally pulling different players over to tell them what to do (or not do). That yell at BJ johnson today was the first time I've seen him outburst but I think the whole special teams needed to hear it. He might say more, but I can't hear.

Take a look at Taco's avatar and tell me if you'd want that man talking down to you.
He rarely smiles for a press report (even after a win), so I don't think he's particularly nice if you screw up an assignment.

Laugh much?

I try. I actually tried to laugh at your comment, but all I could come out with was stupid.

He's always walking around with a stern look on his face, watching things intently. I've never seen him yell at a player in camp, though I guess he did today according to Khan.

Maybe we should start a poll for it and see if anyone found the comment to be funny? LOL

Shanny even looks weird when he's smiling. When I met Shanny I remember him being very serious all the time.

It was funny, well, as funny as Steven A. Smith dancing on Quite Frankly.

DL isn't the next coming of Eddie Murphy, but I did crack a smile over the comment.

LOL, the only practice that I attended during this training camp Shanny was letting BJ Johnson have it that day too. Not looking good for ole BJ I guess.
