Actually I expect the Packers to get raped. They looked absolutely awful against Buffalo. It will be good to scout San Diego albeit their starters will only see very limited action. GBs 1st and 2nd string OL and DL were awful against Buffalo.

Yep. Packer run D continues to be terrible. SD is picking up where the Bills left off last week. This team could finish dead last in that division. And that would be great. I dont want Favre anywhere near Duke's wins record. He is already damn close.

NW Bolt Fan, what are your thoughts on your team's performance as a whole? What surprised you and who were you looking at in particular?

Offense and defense looked okay. The fact that the Pack left their starters in so long was lame, but whatever. I thought there was a BIG drop off in talent between our 1st and 2nd team O-lines. Castillo didn't do much, but get manhandled. Figure it's going to take him a little longer than I'd hoped to learn he can't use brute strength in the NFL. Turner looked awesome, but that was partly due to the gaping holes behind Fonoti. Rivers looked ok, but not that good (although the longer he played the better off he was). Drew's pick was a poor choice IMO, but I could see where he thought Parker was going to continue the route. Otherwise, in the limited time, it was tough to evaluate. REALLY missed a big play to Parker though, and that's inexcusable. Parker had 10 yards on the predator, and it should have been 6 easy, pitch and catch. Whilhelm impressed the **** outta me. Figured that guy was on the bubble, but not if he keeps playing like that, and in reality, since Polk blew his achilles, Wilhelm is probably gonna get one of the backup inside spots. Our return coverage on punts absolutely blew, but with some of the penalites, it was hard to tell how much of a problem that'll be. Sproles did a better job fielding the punts than I thought he'd do, and caught the ball REALLY well out of the backfield, but sure ain't an inside runner.
Above it all though, if Kaeding can't get his head screwed on straight, we'll be in trouble. I figure we'll have plenty of close games considering the schedule we've got, and plenty of them figure to be in nasty weather. Kid hit like 20/25 last year, which is pretty good, but this definitely was not the start to his season any Bolt fan was hoping for... Overall, I think they'll be okay, but the Pack kind of suck. Who knows. Not enough first stringers for long enough to get to good of a gauge.

We will see what happens on saturday. Unfortuneatly here in southern california I do not get the game live, I will have to listen to it over the KOA feed and then watch on monday when NFL network replays their telecast of it. It's absolutely hysterical when Maguire insults Joe and he doesn't even realize it. Magure starts laughing like a drunk at the bar, Joe is fixated on the teleprompter. It's a damn circus. Al Michaels must just carry on, because he has to do play by play. Maguire knows it's comedy, Joe doesn't have a clue, he thinks it's commentary. That's what allways amuses me when some dimwit says Joe is a top analyst. He has a top job, but is so stupid he doesn't realize, or doesn't want to realize Maguire starts on him around the end of the 3rd Quarter for sheer amusement. It's not really important, but if noone has seen and heard it, it's hysterical.
