TO is like the Rodman of the NFL

The problem is the media and the few fans who feed his ego.

TO really does believe hes the victim. But i agree on one thing, if he isnt even in the top 10 at WR in pay, that really does need to be addressed.

In the interview he said he doesnt want to talk to Donovon, or the coaches. He basically said he knows the west coast offense and hes soo good he doesnt need to talk to anyone.

He DONEsky in Philly, i really dont see TO lining up with them unless something gets figured out.

TO and Drew 'Sleaze-bag' Rosenhaus are carrying on contract negotiations right now on PTI on ESPN during which TO said he doesn't even want to say a word to Donovan McNabb ever again! He said he has his own WR coach and doesnt need to practice with the whole team".

He said that he knows the WC offense like the back of his hand and they can tell him what route to run and he runs it perfectly and Donovan throws the ball to him he'll catch it and it doenst require them to interact. He also said Donovan is the real hypocrite as well.

Bye Bye TO!!!!

Unfortunately, TO & Drew may get their way as its obvious this is what they want now, you can just see how Rosenhaus is stirring all this crap up so he can get TO traded to anywhere else and strike fear in the hearts of owners about what he might do in the future with otehr key stars.

I hope every team in the league, all owners and coaches band together on this and boycott TO and Drew-boy.

That would break the back of Rosenhaus for good. If all the teams stayed strong you'd see half his clients freak out and bolt for other more reasonable agents by next year.Rosenhaus was on David Letterman two nights ago and made me want to puke. What an arrogant prick.

practice? PRACTICE? I got your PRACTICE HANGING, me da SHARK, he's gonna do me up big time, we got the 9 million stashed away in the cayamans, and I'm holdin' hostage, dammit. I'm baad..I'm badass...don't even get in this footstep....

Prediction. T.O. will be busted down to a sniveling mole in a month.

I hope so Mock. I don't argue he could get some more bucks, but the way he and Drew boy have gone about it is total poison and if they get their way now after all this acting out, it will be holy hell for all teams dealing with Drew 'Who thinks he's God" Rosenhooby clients in the future.

I say it's got to stop here. Time for the coaches and owners to make a statement, but no doubt some desparate team is going to fold and trade their soul and bring him over. If Philly caves in now, its the official end of their run as a good team. They will fall apart by mid-season.

You won't see it. The NFL likes the setup just the way it is. Teams are able to fire any athlete at any point during the year without any repercussion or responsibility to that athlete.
Very nice deal for the league!

If I'm looking for an agent I'm going to get the best (the one who will get me the most money possible). That's what it's all about.
Just like in the real world when the company gets done using you or you can't perform anymore like you use to, they throw you away, so why WOULDN'T you try and get as much money as possible before you can't perform anymore or are thrown away?

Didn't the Ravens offer him more money? He turned it down to go to Philly. No one put a gun to his head to sign the contract he signed.

I am so sick of this clown.

"Don't talk to me unless I talk to you."

Nice!

About his QB:
"I don't want to talk to him and I don't need to talk to him ever again."

Double Nice!

Philly can suspend him for conduct detrimental to the team. This bridge is burnt. I can't believe his behavior. I think they will suspend for at least 8 weeks, and are so pissed they will try to recoup his signing bonus.

It's time someone reeled this loose cannon in.

Portis acted out, but he didn't make 9 million in his last year in denver, he made pro rated less than a 600k or something like that, even if you count the bonus.

It was addressed when the Eagles signed him. TO knew what kind of WR is was. He knew the kind of numbers he was gonna put up, if he wanted that kind of money, then he shouldn't have settled for the contract he signed. He didn't do anything out of the ordinary last year. Yet all of a sudden his new contract isn't good enough? Give me a break.

I don't know, maybe because you can live for the rest of your life off of one years salary in the NFL. Big difference between 9 million for one year and say 30,000 for a year.

The ink wasn't dry yet, and it wasn't a rookie contract. Sometimes players overachive like Bouldin, Gates, Portis, and deserve some coin, altho Portis was shipped. He hasn't complained in Washington at all.

Owens is a total punk. God, I can't believe it, Michael Irvin the crackhead is sticking up for T.O. I'm so surprised.

Why do these morons like Steven A. and Michael Irvin have to yell at us?

His last comment is "go Figure, call your boy"

Just the next phase of Rosenholdout's plan to get Owens released or traded to someone who'll give him what he wants.

Go to camp after announcing that you'll be unhappy about it. Check.
Act like a douchebag to everyone once you get there. Check.
Go on television and throw everyone under the bus. Check.

I hope they suspend his sorry ass and recoup some of his bonus money. Let him rot.

I love "cold hard facts" on ESPN with Michael Irvin talkin' smack. All the clown did was yell and make excuses. That's what happens when your busted with two hookers and 5 teamates taking turns on hookers with the glass pipe being cooled down between hits.

I can't believe how far ESPN has fallen.

It's obvious that Owens bridge is burnt. He's a prick. They should suspend him for the year, sue for his signing bonus and send him off to his driveway. He simply won't stop running his mouth. It's all over in that town. They are going to take away his signing bonus now. He's an idiot.

The friggin players union advised him not (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A57473-2005Apr15.html) to sign that deal. Upshaw asked him if he would rather be declared a FA. It's a joke for him to say he had no leverage in dealing with the Eagles.

It is what is and the NFL is happy with the current contract structures because it actually is a pay for play league. The better you play the better the pay.

I say the Eagles should just sit TO for the rest of his contract. we all know TO will cave in after a year of sitting but somewhere somehow someone has got to teach this a-hole a lesson.
They can't (legally) and they wouldn't. And they need him more than he needs them anyway. The Eagles could be heading down the long road to mediocrity this year.

Wonder why Phillybroncosnut has been absent? He's probably having a field day. I can't imagine that he hasn't been banned, but maybe everyone is pissed.

We have a happy happy little cookout in Houston. I don't want to play the Eagles in preseason, they are one pissed off team. You don't approach a wounded, dangerous animal right after it's injured. That's one pissed off team right now.

If you have broadband, the Philly sports radio station now streams, they're having a good time with it.

It will also probably be a good listen the week leading up to your game with the Eagles.

In a perfect world, the Iggles would figure out a way to trade him back to SF. Last I heard, Ritchie says TO plays to the contract or sits out the year. That would be bootiful. Of course, the other route to take is the McNabb Revenge Tour. "Oops! Sorry I tossed that a little behind you TO. Oops. I guess that one was a little high and floating over the middle. Oops. Were you open, TO? Gee, I must have missed that." etc.

Everybody is talking about taking away his signing bonus... correct me if I'm wrong but he showed up to camp. He's willing to play WR. He'll catch the ball and he'll run with the ball. I seriously doubt there's terms in his contract that say your bonus money is contingent upon you communicating with the team, the QB, the coaches, etc... He's playing this very nicely and I'm willing to bet you will see the Eagles buy him out and send him on his way. They don't want that big cap hit from trading him. They'll pay have his due and he'll go away... probably to somebody like the Chefs who will be willing to put up with his crap for a year... especially since they know their days are numbered. Too much age on that roster, they'll find someway to fit him in for a shot at it all this year.

No, it's called conduct detrimental to the team. Of course it's contentious, but who cares. You honestly think TO is going to mend fences? All he showed up for was to pull a groin and go do his own bizness.

Michael Irvin just said Oakland could go all the way.

He wanted out of San Fran, so he pissed and moaned until he got it.
Last year he wanted to go to Philly and not Baltimore, so he pissed and moaned until he got it.
Now he wants more money after signing a substandard deal to get what he wanted a year ago, he's pissing and moaning as we speak.
