Can someone sticky this please? I wanna just throw this out there and see who is interested.
I've always wanted to get in on a 33 pool but all the bars I hang at are always full.
For those that have never heard of it, here is the low down. It's simple as hell.
Ideally, you want the same amount of people as there are teams in the NFL. Everybody gets an NFL team until someone wins. If you draw the Denver Broncos, you have the Broncos until someone wins.
Every person involved puts up $5 or $10 or whatever we determine to be the set price every week until one team scores 33 points in a game. Once a team hits 33 points for a final score, the person that had that team wins the pot.
If no team hits 33 for that week, the pot carries over to the next week.
You have to be dedicated and willing to put the set price in every week though. Every week, you put your weekly fee in the pot until someone wins. The beauty of this is, I've seen where a team doesn't score 33 points until week 15. That's a big pot.
Reply if you're interested. Ideally, we can go through someone's paypal account unless someone else has a better idea about how to handle the funds.
Obviously, I'm in if we do this.
We don't need to have the exact number of teams though. We can tinker with how to do this. Also, whats the suggestion for fee? I say $5 or $10 a week.
