I suppose the NFL could follow suit, but I doubt that the Redskins or the Chiefs will be seeing any "postseason" play this year anyway.

So do we also need to change the name of the Vikings in case we are offending some Scandinavians? I am not trying to be insensitive, but if they changed the team names to "Old Hillbillies" I would not be offended even though I am getting old and my mother is from the South.

This is silly. For every group that protests a Native American name, I read about tribes feeling honored that schools use those names.
