Doesn't mention the severity of the injury though...
Droughns, acquired in an offseason trade with Denver, was hurt in practice Wednesday. After rushing for 1,240 yards last season with the Broncos, Droughns is battling Lee Suggs and William Green for the starting tailback job in Cleveland.
Crennel provided little Thursday on Droughns' status.
"He cannot come back until the medical staff releases him," Crennel said.

The curse of Cleveland. Can we trade Maurice for their first round choice next year? I am sure even SoCal would go for that one. :)

That's too bad. I would think he has a very good shot at beating out Lee Suggs and William Green.

I think they were bound and determined to give the job to Suggs. Maybe Ricky will toke up and Cedric will refuse to sign and the Turds can trade him to Mia for a 7th.
God forbid he ends up in Jokeland, cause imo he's a lot better than Crossing Jordan.

I liked Suggs in college and think he can be a very good pro. I didn't expect Droughns to beat him out.

That sucks for Reuben, he was having a very good training camp from the practices that I attended.
He was lining up with the first team offense in practice drills, and was looking very good in the passing game(both running routes and catching the ball, along with picking up his blocks and getting a body on his guy), by the looks of it, he would be the Browns starting HB.
