The animated background is exactly what takes this avatar to the next level. It's simply brilliantly conceived. Your composition is first rate. The choice of the muted colors for the animated level is spot on. The star of the scene is in full focus with strong color. There are three levels of physical depth to the thing and the motion of the background suggests that the subject's mind runs nonstop with a single focus. The background actually animates the thought process of the static subject, and so it makes the static subject appear to be alive.

I've been a designer/illustrator for a couple of decades now. I'm telling you, TJ: For my money, your avatar is an example of microanimation at its best.

I photographed the CNO and the MCPON two days ago. I've photographed Jeb Bush, Ted Kennedy, Donald Rumsfield, Rudy Juliani... I was on the field at Fenway park as our Captain threw out the first pitch at a Sox-Braves game.... without me, no-one would ever know all the politicians that visit our ship. Nyah!

I did plenty of that in training. I wanted to be a Seal. I'm glad I dropped out and ended up here.

Its not that great. They are flying me all over the place. I'm based in Jacksonville, Florida, but I would like to actually spent a full month with out flying out to another place. I'm starting to hate airplanes... seems like I spend more time flying than on land.

BUDS huh? Lucky, youd be disappointed. I worked with tons in Iraq and they seemed fairly clueless and never really did anything. Same thing with the rangers.

My temp was insanley high, I was sore as ****, dry.... couldnt stay awake.

Coffee shop in Stockholm, Sweden....
I asked her how to say something in Swedish (which I'm currently learning)....

She said she didnt speak Swedish, and she was from Antwerp, Belgium

I'm like "Oh, so you speak German?" (Dumb question)

Shes like "No, Flemmish"

So I asked her anyway how to say it.... and totally butchered it

Then I asked her name (probabally shouldent disclose it) and bought her drink.

Turns out she is a massage specialist, so I asked her where she worked.

Went in.... got a incredible full body massage... gave her a ridiculous tip (like $60) after getting her number, and her picture (see avitar)

After that it was just walking around Stockholm for like 2 weeks.... having **** loads of fun.
