I think it might possibly take them 10 years to make the playoffs if the keep MAKING plays like this

I think you're suppose to catch that.

I hear they usually touch the receiver down, though. And left-handed passes are strictly prohibited.

Yeah...you'd have to set the "Way-Back Machine" to way-back for that one. Isn't that right mister Peabody? :)

Think he may have heard about that one from the coaches during the following weeks flm session?

He had to duck to keep from getting hit with the ball, it was intended for him. I don't know if he expected his QB to run up and hand it to him, but if you are in the path of the ball, you make an effort to catch it.

I dunno, I have seen players duck before because they thought it was intended for someone behind them. I suppose it's a stupid error, if you know the play, you know if the ball is going to you.

:stupid: I don't know, is it just me or have you really hit rock bottom when you are on another team's board defending a neutral team's idiotic and hilarious play just on priniciple?
Of course it is Boob we're talking about.

It's just my opinion on the play. If there was a safety coming to take his head off, yes, he's a pussy, but I don't see one.

Ha, no **** is that Lloyd? Thats funny. The guy is a total prick but an amazing athlete. For as bad that play is...I would like to see the whole play and how that play looked sooo bad, he made an amazing catch at one point that people were talking about for a long time...even on here.
That guy played just about everything on our HS team, he was older than me. USA Today Top 25 team. It had Lloyd who is now playing in the NFL and doing ok for himself even though this is a bad example. John Garrison a guy who started center at Nebraska for 2 years...A QB that went to Dartmouth...a RB that went to Oklahoma...and that same team was a year removed from a RB that is palying for the Redskins right now. Ladell Betts who was a stud at Iowa. Not bad for one high school team.

That's pretty funny...reminds me of a play I saw in a high school practice once when this kid from Wheat Ridge turned around on a short come back route and took a perfect spiral right in the face. It stuck in his face mask...just before the DB flattened him...the thing stayed in his mask though. Hilarious!

I know you don't know too much about football, but coaches design pass plays with the intentions of 2 receivers not being in the same vicinity so things like not knowing who the pass is intended for will not happen.
Any WR is taught that if the ball is catchable, then catch the ****ing ball.

That catch was great, going out of bounds he caught it by the tip of the ball with one hand and maintained possession as he fell out of bounds, just an swesome catch.

The point was made that you never design a play with two recievers in the same area unless it's a missread.
It happens, but on that play, there was no second reciever. There also wasn't a safety coming strong, it was a totally underneath route. Funny stuff. He had to think that ball wasn't intended for him, or something. Might of been some pick play that went horribly wrong and the other reciever didn't get to the party. Who knows. That certainly wasn't "fighting for the ball".
Most amazing is he used the ref as a pick when noone was on his tail....
