How wide is this ? I thought you were upset that she wouldnt' answer Kerry's questions and I thought she gave a good reason. That is all.
It doesn't suprise me that she was brought end for questioning. She is one of Bush's top advisers. If I were going to look into a wrong doing of one of any President's top advisers, I would start with the other top advisers. See what they know.

Karen Hughes - Bush's other brain.
If for some reason, Rove ever had to step down, Hughes would just take his place and there's little difference between the two.

Thats the point ..... Was Karen Hughes there when this top seceret document was shown ? and if so who in the hell hasnt seen this top seceret document ? .. Sounds like this was passed around with very little caution .. not the S.o.P. for classified info

But let's say in the end Rove did this all on his own or 1 or 2 other people(if he is found guilty) they wouldn't know this going into the investigation, so it would make sense to call in the other top advisers just in case.

that isnt the point I was trying to make , the point I am making is , Shouldnt Bush have been more carefull with top Seceret documents ? It does raise some concern that top seceret documents could be passed around like a sports Illustrated ........

I think we will(or at least I hope) find out the answer to that when the investigation is done.

thats why I asked how wide is this ......But just because Karen Hughes was questioned doesn't mean at the end of the day this is a wide spread event.
But we better damn well find out.

I sure hope you are right Clarker , the mere fact that the Comander in Chief would be so careless with top seceret Papers is scarey as hell
But we better damn well find out.

AgreedI don't know if I'm right, I'm just saying just because they questioned her doesn't mean it is widespread.
But your right if they were as careless as it seem they were with these papers, that is damn scary.

Worst-case scenario for Dim Son:
Rove is indicted --> Dim Son pardons Rove just like Poppy pardoned those Iran-Contra felons whose testimony would have sent Saint Ron and Poppy to jail --> Rove takes some lucrative job as a consultant in the private sector and continues to advise Dim Son.

Quotes
"But regardless of the source, the leak compromised the confidential identity of a longtime public servant, which was wrong, and unfair to her and those who worked with her. Whoever did it should come forward and not hide behind journalistic ethics for his or her self-protection."
- Karen Hughes, in her book, before she knew it was Rove and Libby

But since her boys got caught, I'm sure she'll change her tune just like the Monkey did.

But since her boys got caught, I'm sure she'll change her tune just like the Monkey did. That is one way to look at it. Another is if the procecuter tells her to keep quite, then she doesn't have much choice does she?

The investigation was ongoing when she made her original remarks (just like Simple Scotty.) The WH has chosen to stonewall and to circle the wagons when Bush could order everyone to tell what they know anytime he felt like it.

But if you want a fair trial then it is best they keep quite and should have to begin with.

Just the opposite is true.
Silence isn't a condition for fairness.
Instead of keeping quiet, they should come forward and tell everything they know.

Instead of keeping quiet, they should come forward and tell everything they know.Yes, they should tell the grand jury everything they know. If it goes past that the jury of his peers.
Leaking grand jury testimony is against the law as well.
