Bill Walsh was on the Dan Patrick show today speaking about Rice as a Bronco. "No doubt that he is a great leader and will work as hard in practice and in the off season as anyone" Then Bill went on to say as far as an impact, he just isn't sure. I was only able to listen to about 2 or 3 min of him speaking, sounds like he feels the same as the rest of us on how much of an impact he will have. Did anyone else listen to this????

I don't think Jerry should of pulled a favor from Shanahan. When he doesn't show talent, it's that much harder to cut him. I really like the guy, but he's so over the hill he's at the river. Why should it be Shanahan's job to dump him? It's possible he catches a few in the red zone, but get real, the guy is done. It's his 21'st year.

Shanahan won't cut him, what will happen is if he's not going to make it I think you will see some mystery type injury happen in camp or at the end of pre season and he will retire. I just dont think he would cut him, and Rice wouldn't want that to be the case.
