What your adopted bronco going to do this season:

Now that adoption thread is going, it time for you to post what you’re player will do this upcoming season. Co-adoption players, each mane member “parent” can have their own opinion. I’ll start:

Pryce - 15 sacks, 45 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, two fumble recovers.

The best kept secret in the NFL (Tatum) is going to bust out this year. I'll go with 1,600 yards, 12 TDs. I would have given him better stats, but there's a lot of depth there and there's no use wearing him out.

The Goat will catch 46 balls for 649 yards and 4 TDs.

Shanahan will be coach of the year...well, he'll deserve it but get shafted by some coach that takes a bad team and makes them look good. Isn't that who always wins coach of the year?

Shanny will prove everybody wrong. He brought in a ton of talent. The only question mark is health. Especially on the D line. But that isn't as big of a problem because he brought in so many of them. They'll all see limited action because of the rotation. That'll limit the chances of injuries, and keep them all fresh during games. The D line will be a strength on this team. The Shanny haters will be eating crow.

The O is just about the same. Bell makes them more explosive. Shanny is going to look like the mastermind when Bell goes for 1600 yards and 12 TDs, like Orange Crusher predicted.

By seasons end, after the Broncos have won their 3rd Super Bowl, people will be talking about Shanny going into the HOF. A 3rd Super Bowl title would make him a shoe in.

Nate Jackson will compete, and that's all we can ask him to do.

He's done everything we've asked him to in the offseason. He's added some weight which we feel will help him make the transition to TE. He's also shed the #14 jersey, which we feel was really holding his progress back.

Anytime a guy come is and works as hard as Nate has in the offseason, that's what you look for....

Jake Plummer

He will have another quietly successful season while dealing with his turnover issues. It was largely ignored that he broke an Elway record last season and tied another in significant passing categories: yards (4089) and TD's (27).

Jake is a winner and a good leader. I think that he will continue to work the bootleg well and get balls to Putz and Rod. It's up to Watts and Lelie to get those intermediate routes down. Ash willl get his too.

With the defense that we have this season, All Jake needs to do is get the ball in the endzone without too many mistakes.

Predicted statistics: 4200 yds / 28 TD's / 17 ints / 89.5 QB rtg /3 rushing TD's

Q will slowly work his way up the depth chart. His quickness will return and Bobby Turner will solve the fumble problem just like he has with every other new back he has coached. Turner will also rebuild Q's confidence allowing him to become a specialty back and third down force. He will make a name for himself in the NFL, it might not be with the Broncos but he will play somewhere and maybe even start somewhere. People here gave up too quick on Q and he will prove you all wrong assuming he is 100% recovered.

I think that that is reasonable. Even if Denver's D proves to be the best and most intimidating in the NFL, the media darlings will still get the press (Ravens, Pats, Eagles, etc.)

I forgot to mention that he'll go probowl on mannings ass in the playoffs. With tremendous heat and pressure coming at him, manning throughs up some pretty birdies. Roc takes his biatch ass to the house twice and picks off another two.

Courtney Brown is looking at playing at full health the first 4 games of the season. In that span I see him going for 5 sacks with 2 forced fumbles and 4 tackles for a loss. He will suffer some type of minor injury, my guess a pulled muscle. He will sit for 4 weeks... not b/c he can't go but b/c the Broncos want him healthy for the 2nd half of the season. He will then remain healthy but rotate more. During the last half of the season he will go for an additional 7 sacks giving him 12 for the season. We will all be wondering what kind of production he would have had if he hadn't missed those 4 games. He will lead the team in sacks but mainly b/c guys like Warren, Pryce, Engleberger and Ekuban will all even out with between 5 and 8 sacks each. Brown will be the unsung hero to a very opportunistic defense. Turnovers and INT's will increase by 60-70% this year and a big reason will be b/c of his pressure.

My friends, you're looking at 20 INT's this season and another 16 fumble recoveries.

Karl Paymah will have three big hits on ST's causing fumbles. The first will be against Dante Hall in denver on Monday night as Sauerbrun punts a few into the upper deck. The Refs will throw a flag however claiming he was "Horse collared", so instead of a fumble recovery KC ends up with the ball at midfield. Later that week, Paymah receives a threatening letter from the league saying Denver Secondary players are now on a short leash and must remove the flag from the players new belts. Any hitting whatsoever leads to the "referees descretion" to eject them from the game.

After much off field counseling, Karl returns in time to play New England. Vowing never to pull a "Deltha", He tackles David Terrrell in the waning moments as the ball sails out of the endzone being uncatchable. The penalty is assesed anyway and Karl blocks the FG attempt of Vinatieri. Game over. Later that week, the league decides that Paymah should have been ejected per their earlier instructions. They force Denver to forfeit a played game and Bookies all over the country put out an open hit on Tagliabue and Gene Upshaw.

Paymah returns from his four game suspension just in time to play the Chiefs in Arrowhead. Dante Hall has a mysterious pre-game illness and does not dress for the game. This time Paymah lays out Samie Parker after grabbing his flag. Luckily, the hits on Tags and Upshaw have been carried out and now Slap has been promoted to league President after many intimidated employees resign. In a letter to Paymah after the incident, Slap concludes he should have been suspended for grabbing the flag first but he gets probation since that was his first offense in the new era.

Paymah earns his first Start against Oakland in the nickel package. Collins tosses two picks his way early in the second half after Moss decides to leave at halftime since they are down by a FG.

Finally, after Denver beats the Jets at Home in the playoffs Karl Squares away on the Soft Colts WR's in Mile High. In a brutal snow storm, he spins Reggie Wayne around at the LOS and Gerrard Warren pancakes him in the Zone Blitz. Wayne finishes the game on the sidelines complaining of Brain Freeze from snow inhalation. In the Superbowl, Karl faces the mighty Vikes WR's. He picks off a pass after Nate Burleson plays hot potato with it and John Lynch levels him. He takes it to the house and scores the only TD in a 16-9 win. Paymah becomes the first Rookie CB to win the Superbowl MVP.

Yeah, that works for me :peace: :pigsfly: :charge: :homer:

I see him getting 7-8 sacks and generally wreaking havok in the middle, opening things up for his fellow defenders.
