he pushed around two defenseless guys (knocked one down), both doing their jobs. He got "fined" a low amount, gets a 20 game "suspension" (where he may of only played 4 games anyways) and he gets paid the whole time IF he really does have to sit at home for those games; all basically a slap on the wrist.
in return he gets the all-star game which gives him $50k for attending.. so we're telling this guy its ok to push people around by rewarding him?!? ah, its frustrating.

he got rewarded with the all-star game by pitching well this season. Not for pushing the guy down.

Why not? The All-Star Game and MLB justice in general are extremely bad jokes anyway...having him pitch in the game just shows you where the MLB and it's priorities are at.

Because he attacked one of their own. The media all want blood. Most fans don't care. I think he should be allowed to make the choice and should choose not to play.

Here's a tissue.
Fact is, most of the people that have camera's shoved in their faces would LOVE to do what Rogers did. I damn sure would. Doing your job is one thing, interfering in a person's personal space is entirely different and you cant tell me these reporters give one ****ing **** about personal space and privacy. Sure, they are in the public eye, but that does not mean they must abandon all their rights to privacy, period.
The fact that you defend those twerps in his face makes you part of the reason those media ****nuts are so intruding in the first place.

Yep, maybe they'll sit him until the game goes into extra innings, Rogers comes out in the 10th.

I didn't see anyone get in his face but I seen him lose it and and get someone else's face. He assaulted another person because he couldn't control his emotions and might be charged. Kinda amusing to me (listening to all the apologies he's throwing around now).

Who wants to make a bet that this never goes to court and is settled through the team?
Cameraman Larry produces porn on the side. Think anyone wants this to come out?

Save that tissue for yourself. You're the one doing all the crying. Rogers' reaction was cowardly and unprofessional and its a shame that Selig didn't just suspend him from the game. Unfortunately he expected Rogers to act like an adult, which was pretty stupid given Rogers track record for immature behavior.
**** your personal space. If you don't want to be in the public eye, get a real job like everybody else. I would love to see some little queer like Sean Penn charge me with his fists up. I'm not some two-bit whore Madonna, cringing in the corner. I'd beat that little ****er so hard he would only be able to portray retards for the rest of his career.

No and not because of the camera thing either. Bonderman should be in there because he's better. Rogers is on pace for 18 wins and 94k's and 64 walks. Bonderman is on pace for 21 wins 179k's and 65 walks. Now Bond's has Mags back and a better 2nd base man so the second half looks great for Bond's. Lets not forget where and who Bonderman plays for either.
