Finally, a positive article about one of our off season acquisitions. But I guess at the same time Pasquarelli is trying to put on a positive spin he jabs us with some undercover negative BS. Oh well, I can't wait for the season to start to prove some of these "experts" wrong.

Tip Sheet (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2102598&num=0)

• Of the four former Cleveland Browns defensive linemen who were all acquired by the Denver Broncos in various offseason moves, the only one missing a first-round pedigree was journeyman tackle Michael Myers. In fact, Myers, was essentially a throw-in to the trade in which the Broncos acquired end Ebenezer Ekuban. Fearing that Ekuban might not be totally recovered from injuries in time for the start of camp, the Broncos asked the Browns to add a draft choice to the deal (in which Cleveland received tailback Reuben Droughns) to sweeten the pot a bit. Cleveland officials balked at including a draft choice in the trade, so added Myers to the package instead.

Some members of the former regime in Cleveland noted at the time that Myers, who has just 33 career starts in seven seasons, might be the best of the four former Browns headed to Denver. And they may have been correct. So far, Denver coaches seem excited by Ekuban, end Courtney Brown and tackle Gerard Warren. But at this week's mini-camp, Myers lined up ahead of Warren at nose tackle with the No. 1 defense. Some observers suggested the move was a not-so-veiled ploy by coordinator Larry Coyer to motivate Warren, a player of immense talent but one who has underachieved so far in his career. That might turn out to be the case. But no one should underestimate Myers, a guy who is solid against the run, has shown flashes of pass rush ability in the past, and is a better player than he's given credited for.

I have been saying this the whole time...Somebody throw me some props!!!LOL

Anyway Myers is very solid you know what you get with him and he won't disappoint. His signing might leave Fatafehi looking for a job.

Pope and Dorsett Davis could be on their way out of Denver.

One would think we could garner some late round draft choices from some of the D-Line we currently have instead of them just being cut...

Someone mentioned he's been fairly impressive. It seems the media is ten times more concerned than the coaching staff. We don't have alot invested in any of these players. All four of them are practically a tenth of the price of Surtain. The line should get back Dorsett Davis, Pryce and Ellis, and if the others don't pan, there was no big bonus to eat. It's classic stupidity.

Maybe that bodes bad for the rest, they are still fighting off injury, but i'm not giving up hope for the rest of the Browncos, it's still July.

I don't care who it is that is starting, as long as they put pressure on the QB and hold up against the run.

Sick and tired of hearing all these positive reports...I want to see some action.

Yeah, I think you're right. I think Warren gets the 3-4 NT slot, or at least, is way ahead in the team planning for implementation when, and if it's used with any regularity.

Myers has just been solid in everything he does. I've heard that coaches think he pretty much plays to his maximum ability...which is great, but everyone sees Warren as so much more untapped potential.
