Everything I've ever read from you during my time on the 'Mane has always been honest. You've never homered anything up or spun anything. You've given honest takes and called them as you see them.
With that said, you've been writing threads lately gushing over the guys imported from the Browns. I gotta ask, are you really impressed with them? I guess put me down as one of the doubters, (and I hope I eat a lot of crow come opening day) but I don't know, I'm not too confident that they can get it done when they couldn't in Cleveland.
Can you elaborate on what you've seen to make you optimistic about the situation at D-Line? Because right now your excitement is starting to make me excited about the situation.

I've only had extremely limited exposure to them in person, but I've been reading & hearing things that make you think they will flourish here...in part, because they're not going to be required to play every down, every series.
Players wear down, & when they do, they get hurt.
The Broncos measure their time, much the same way pitches are measured in baseball...so many downs..outta there.
Today, I actually saw that line...everyone was pretty wide-eyed...wow!
This group has a chance to be very special.
Brown is unbelievably quick for such a big guy. He & Pryce were in the backfield where the QB 'would be' instantly, but so much has yet to be decided in training camp...more importantly...under contact situations.
I did get one thing from today...every single reporter from every medium wants to be there when this bunch tees off on someone for real.
Add that LB speed to all this & it's mayhem for offenses...I can't wait to see our 'O' go against these guys...they didn't look too interested in giving it a go today.

Interesting stuff, thanks wabbit.
Man, if Shanny makes this work, it's going to be epic.

This is a typical reaction by viewers in the summer of last several years. When season starts we get injured and never live up to hype of how we look on paper or at camp in July.
I'm excited about the 05 season and see what happens for sure. I think Denver has alot to prove in consistancy and toughness and staying healthy if they do in 05 we have truly improved this year. Sorry for being cautious mode but, this same record plays every summer at Dove Valley.
I think our depth on the defensive line is going to be crazy this year. I also think in unison, the whole front seven is going to be one of the best units in the league. That is going to open up some opportunities to make plays for our secondary.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

The key difference is "in unison". See when they were in Cleveland, they were it. If they sucked, they had to take all the blame and weight of a horrible franchise onto their shoulders. As part of a rotation of regular players, many of which all have something to re-prove, there is less pressure to have to be "the guy" because they can be "the team" or "the unit".

Wabbit, who is sucking ass right about now?
I've never heard a bad mini camp report. I get kind of tired of all the great reports. I want to know what we should be worried about.

That's easy, Shoate/Middlebrooks/Leseur/Paymah etc. Basically any Denver DB drafted high.
Listen up ..... Denver will have a defense for the ages this season, we will tear up the rest of the NFL this year and possiliby into following seasons
Feel free to book mark this post cause it is 100% correct!

I knew we would be hearing rave reviews about Courtney Brown. The guy is a beast and a good player, but he cannot stay healthy. I am sure he will be a force in camp this year. But there is a very good chance he will get hurt, so do not get your hopes up.
I hope that the Broncos use him a limited number of snaps per game. If he plays well in those limited snaps, the Broncos will be tempted to put him in there full time. They need to show restraint and use him a select number of plays per game, otherwise he will get hurt and not be there at all.
