5. Rick Upchurch
6. Haven Moses
7. Al Denson
8. Bob Scarpito

I would replace Russell or Al Frazier at 14 or 15 with Michael Young. Young only played 4 years as a Bronco, but came through in the playoffs in a few games.

I'd have to go:

1. Rod
2. Eddie (Those SBs count for something)
3. Jackson (Hell, just for The Drive)
4. Watson
5. Moses
6. Upchurch (although I remember him more for his returns)
7. Vance
8. Nattiel (the Amigos gave us some entertaining games)
That's it for me (too early for Ashley)

Mark Jackson under Anthony Miller? :saywhat: Jackson caught what is perhaps the strongest football ever thrown. The Drive alone ranks him above Miller.

I'd also rank Mac ahead of Watson.

I like Eddie Mac think he was a great receiver for us, but I wouldn put him ahead of Watson. Watson was Eddie Mac before Eddie Mac was around.

You know who is missing from that list, Jack Dolbin. He's probably the greatest blocking WR in Broncos history and that's saying a lot.

Anthony Miller went to the Pro Bowl as a Bronco.

Anthony Miller earned his hefty paycheck in 1995. He set the franchise record for touchdown receptions in a season (14) which still stands today. Miller had two seasons of good production and one mediocre season.

Jackson never had a extraordinary season, but had about 4-5 seasons of solid production.

Basically, it comes down to what you value more. A couple Pro Bowl caliber seasons from a me-first egomaniac or steady, middle-of-the-road production from a less talented kid with a good head on his shoulders.

I think the first four are right on target. Moses should probably be ranked ahead of Upchurch based on performance as a "wide receiver". I love how you rank Al Denson at #7. He was an exciting deep threat in the late 1960s and one of the few talented players the Broncos had in those days. Great work.

Watson is ranked pretty low in lot of these ranks.

He should be second.

Lionel Taylor deserves to be 2nd because he led the AFL in receptions the first 6 years of its existence. He was the first football player to catch 100 passes in a season. The seasons only had 14 games. He was the Broncos MVP for 1963, 64, and 65. Watson and Eddy Mac were great, but could they accomplish the same things as Taylor on those early Bronco teams?

I really enjoyed watching Michael Young and he should be close to the top 15. Shouldn't Sir Mawn be here to condemn his exclusion from the list? Ha!

Correct....only Big Rod is better in this area.....

1. Rod Smith
2. Lionel Taylor
3. Steve Watson
4. Haven Moses
5. Ed McCaffrey
6. Mark Jackson
7. Rick Upchurch

You can list the rest as you see fit.

I would put S. Sharpe #1 overall. Sure he played TE but he was absolutly the best "reciever".

If one catch equals $27. I could get his entire Bronco career for $108.
