Nope, this is not the "If the Broncos didn't exist, who would be your favorite team?" question.
Here it is, if you had to choose one team other than the Broncos/favorite team(for you non Bronco fans here) that you think will win the Super Bowl this year, who would it be?
Yes I know it's only late June, but right now who do you have winning the Super Bowl and you can't say your favorite team.

For some reason I think the Vikings are going to gel nicely this year after having that cancerous lump removed. IF the Broncos don't make it to the superbowl, they defeat the AFC team.

Very tough since I don't believe in that "I've got two teams I root for" BS......probably The Saints, unless they leave NOLA that is.
right now who do you have winning the Super Bowl and you can't say your favorite team.
I'll take The Pittsburgh Steelers.

I was up in the Kingdome in 1998 and they were hanging close to Denver. There fans were still depressed. I said to one of them why are you so bumbed. Your team is only down 7 to the defending World champs have killed everyone else. He they were so use to losing that he knew they would blow it in the end. He was right, but he was a nice guy, even bought me a beer.

It's very hard to bet against the Patriots, but they lost their offensive AND defensive coordinator and they don't know if Bruschi is ever going to recover enough to play. Watch out for Dallas, though. Parcells will get that ship righted sooner than later.

If there were no Broncos franchise, I'd root for the local Seahawks, I figure. Hard for me to imagine rooting for the Seahawks though... Well, I guess I have grown a little more fond of them now that they're in the NFC. But I still toss my friends in the area crap about them...

My favorite team if there wasnt a Broncos franchise would be the Houston Texans only because of Fresno St. Alumn David Carr...and the Detroit Lions because of the sickness they have at the WR position...
As for the Super Bowl winner this year...I'd go with either the Panthers or Vikings in the NFC and the Colts or Pats in the AFC...

Maybe some day. They are showing signs of potential and maybe they'll finally get a home crowd to go to a game when their dome get's done.

I also have a soft spot for the Cardinals. They're an ancient franchise, and they've NEVER been any good. You really feel for them when you're watching one of their games in the blistering heat and half the seats are empty. I hope they can turn things around, but they seem like one of those teams that is doomed.

I live in AZ, so if i cant say Broncos, i hope that the cardinals will do something in the NFC. I also like the Vikings, and in the AFC, id hate to say it, but Chiefs(dont hurt me...) if their defense doesnt get hurt(bell, surtain, knight) they have some solid guys at each position. And their O is always top 10.

I couldnt choose another team. I enjoy watching some teams over than others but i cant really have a new team. I dont see how anyone could root for a team besides Denver. There is something about the Broncos that is very inherently special, its hard to put it into language, but i dont get that feeling from any other team. Id probably just watch as a neutral observer and fan of the game but with no one team. Id root for former Canes individually in games but i dont think i could just go out and select a new team. Only the Broncos are attractive to root for, there just isnt a spark for any other team even if Denver wasnt there. Id still be a fan of the league though.

There's gonna come a year... when you guys actually do not win it PatsWin, believe it or not. It might not happen in my lifetime or your lifetime, but eventually you guys will not win the Super Bowl. :)
Man, i cant imagine how it would feel to win 3 out of 4. Two in a row was the best feeling, i cant imagine 3. I would respect the Pats but i still couldnt root for them, or anyone else if the Broncos were dissolved somehow. It would be an empty feeling but id still be a big fan of the league in general. Id prolly follow the Pats closer than most teams due to Wilfork and Thomas.

Cardinals vs the Texans..... Texans win with a 3 TD peformance by Dom Davis.
Okay, for real now. I think the Colts win a very good game over the Vikings. IF Troy Williamson comes in and competes like they are hoping the Vikings could easily be the cream of the crop in the NFC. Their vertical passing game is the only major question mark at this point.

Yeah. They're philosophy wasn't too different from what it seems we're trying to do. When they were good, they had a solid offense that used the run game a lot. Their special teams and Defense was so good, they could just pin people deep and then make them beat their defense back. Their cheerleaders are hot, too.
