I gotta represent for Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. They have a ton of great coasters there, but I know they have the tallest fastest roller coaster in North America. The Millenium Force is awesome. The Raptor (suspended coaster) and the Magnum XL-200.
Check out Cedar Point's website. If you love coasters it's the best park in the U.S.

Magic Mountain is going nuts with these extreme roller coasters. I don't think there is any park that has as many extreme rides. They are open year round, so I guess they can afford to keep building these things.

76 MPH and drop of 200 feet?
It's for the little kids, right?

The 1st drop is amazing...I've never experienced a roller coaster like that in my life...It basically feels like you're going to plunge to the ground, not seeing the track...I really want to go out to Cedar Point and ride some of those rides too...

Obviously you didnt read much about the revolutionary design of the train...No other roller coaster is like that...And I would love to see your reaction when on the ride...

I'd probably be like "This ride is sweet!"
Because I'm like that with just about all roller coasters. I read the revolutionary design of the train and such, and I agree that you need to come to Cedar Point, the Millenium Force is unreal.

Sounds good, you'll enjoy it.
Utilizing the latest in thrill ride technology, Millennium Force was the first coaster in the world ever to use an elevator lift system to take riders up a 45-degree angle to the top of its imposing structure. Once there, riders plummet to Earth at a staggering 80-degree angle! Millennium Force broke an astonishing 10 world records when it debuted in May of 2000 as Cedar Point's 14th roller coaster, more than anywhere else in the world.
Millennium Force debuted in May of 2000 as the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the universe. Standing a breathtaking 310 feet into the air, this "giga-coaster" takes thrill-seekers on an incredible 93-mph journey along 6,595 feet of track that winds its way through the center of the park, crosses a lagoon and dives onto an island.
---------------------------------------------------
93 MPH, 310 foot drop at 80 degree angle, 6,595 feet of track, it just doesn't get anymore kickass than that.

Deja Vu here at Magic Mountain has a 90 degree drop but, its nowhere as fast as MF goes...or as long, for that matter too...Sounds F'N great!

The Giant Dipper on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It's not nearly as extreme as a lot of others, but I have a ton of great memories of the Boardwalk and that roller coaster.
I liked Top Gun at Great America. The one that scared me the most is one called Mouse Trap at Wild Waves south of Seattle. It sounds wimpy, but it's something about feeling top heavy and the sharp turns.

goliath at magic mountain has got to be my favorite right now.
that g force actually made me black out. awesome.
i want to take a trip to cedar point, because they have some AMAZING looking rides.
especially that one that goes up FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY feet.
astounding.
i havent been to magic mountain in awhile, but im excited to ride "x" also. looks pretty incredible.
lastly, i dont know if you'd call it a "roller coaster", but the big shot on top of the stratosphere in vegas is the most amazing ride ive ever been on.
best ride at elitch's is the boomerang, but elitch's gets alot of credit for having a water park thats the same admission.

Alright im back from chicago and i im happy to report that i didnt wait in a line longer than 15 minutes it was awsome i hit every coaster at least twice.Heres my rankings and what i thought about them.
1. Raging bull (the best coaster at the park fun and not too short)
2.De ja vu ( First time riding a coaster like this loved the reverse lift in the begining)
3.Batman( they used the scenery realy well so you had no clue what was coming next)
4.Superman( Only problem was way too short but was cool although this "x" you guys are talking about makes superman sound like a pos)
5. VerticalVelocity(pretty cool launched up a winding tower than go back down backwards the best part is when on the last time you go backwards up the tower they stop the train for about 2 seconds looking directly at the ground)
My next trip is deffinatley gonna be to ceder point i need to try and get out to magic mountain both those parks sound awsome
